  1. Never said anything about fraud. I just pointed out that just because you have a photo of something, it doesn't mean that you own it. An invoice or receipt is better proof of purchase / ownership. (for the record, I'm also insured with Naked for my vehicle). If you take a photo of a ring with a big shiny stone, how do you prove if it 9 or 18ct gold, whether it's a flawless diamond or a just a shiny piece of glass? A valuation certificate has all of the details of the item (as well as the correct replacement value)
  2. Correct, All Risks are usually not subject to average. The caveat being, if you are claiming for "parts" and your groupset is almost the value of the complete bicycle you specified, your insurance might start asking questions. You might get away with it on the first claim but you will probably be asked to correct your sum insured. The onus is always on the client to ensure that they are insured for the correct amounts. The onus is also on the client to ensure that the premium is paid (don't blame your insurance for not letting you know your premium is due, if you forget to have enough money to cover your debit order) -
  3. Having a photo of something doesn't mean you own it unfortunately. I've dealt with claims where clients had photos of everything. Unfortunately most of it belonged to friends (really bad luck when the assessor allocated to your claim also did an assessment at your buddies house)
  4. Feedback from Disco regarding Virgin Active : Virgin Active’s systems are not yet fully functional. For this reason, there is a delay in allocating for Virgin Active visits. Our team is working with Virgin Active to resolve this error. Please provide us with the exact dates you attended Virgin Active for us to manually award the points.
  5. Yip, mine is also not showing. It's also not under the known issues on the Vitality page on Disco
  6. Probably this section here. There was quite a few incidents pre Covid on that section of road just before the Puma Garage and the Service Station Centre
  7. Wait until the first doper uses the "expired gel" excuse
  8. Is the cyclist in question not a Dr by profession?
  9. ignore, I saw your other post with details
  10. It's very easy to clip out, pops out with minimal force applied. Cant see any dirt , ect logged in the pedal
  11. Anyone else had issue where the Carbon Leaf "tension plate" on one (or both pedals) wear out? This is the second time my left pedal stops engaging due to the carbon spring/ tension plate no longer providing enough resistance. Left one as I obviously unclip and clip in more often on that side Is it possible to just replace the worn out part or is it new pedal time? (I see you can buy replacement parts but I can only find those for the Blade 2)

Do you get a voucher code in a separate email or do you have to email them first?
  15. Teljoy has rent to buy Suito trainers. You end up paying a lot more though than just buying outright
  16. From Benky?
  17. The Muna's weight about 10kg - rough methodology of weighing myself and then get back onto the scale holding the bike. We're in that gap where they can ride the bikes, turn around at the end of the street, but they cant stop yet using the brakes, cause they haven't quite managed stopping and putting a toe down to stop them from falling over. I did have a moment of inner joy when my girl told her mom she can't help her to get onto the bike, as "only daddy knows"
  18. Update : today the app shows 2/2 health checks completed.
  19. Yip. Seems like I have to redo it in May to complete the 3
  20. I completed the health tests (usual blood tests and HIV) this morning. Points were allocated within 30 minutes. On the app it shows 2 out of 3 completed. Anyone know what the 3rd would be?
  21. We have 2 JD Bug's, which is bomb proof. My daughter used a Chillafish BMXie, it has a footrest, but we've never used it. (edit: the chillafish must have one of the worse saddle clamping systems around. If we didnt get the bike for free, I would not buy it, just for that saddle adjustement system) Have a look on FB marketplace and get a second hand one, the kids grow out of them after a year or so
  22. Now I can't unsee the Borat likeness
  23. After preferring their smaller balance bikes all holiday, the twins were back on the pedal bikes today and riding better than before. (we skipped 14" and went straight to 16", I raised the saddles a bit today, maybe that helped!)
  24. Just remember to specify it similar to your current policy with Disco. They have an option to only cover your bicycle as example, if you have your car on the policy, without having to have your contents covered with Naked too. Just bear in mind that you can't have the same item insured with two insurers at the same time.
