I am baffled by Ducati though. From what I understand, they are looking to replace Lorenzo with Petrucci or Miller, mostly because they are "cheaper". That makes no sense to me at all. Neither of those two guys are more talented than Jorge, and if it's a money thing, I firmly believe that Jorge will take a salary of €0.00 if it gives him a shot at winning another title. However, the bike isn't working as he wants it to (which I think everyone was expecting, so many have tried, and so many have failed). In my mind Ducati needs to take either an upcoming rookie (but most of the top talent is now tied up), or persevere with Lorenzo at a much lower salary. Lorenzo knows he won't be able to win a title on a satellite Yamaha, but he would definitely be fast on it. Heck, perhaps he joins JR65 at KRT next season. It would be really disappointing if Lorenzo goes out of the championship like this. Dorna stepped in to bring Rossi back from his Ducati-doldrums, perhaps there is some cream left to tempt Lorenzo with. It really is quite curious.

Yep, silly season isn't over by any stretch of the imagination.

Yeah I also heard something about it now that you mentioned it. The guys had to set the bikes up for the first flowy part of the track, or the last tight part of the track. Can imagine that gearbox ratios proved difficult considering the nature of Donington Park.

I watched both races. VdM just finally got things to work for him I think. Sykes really struggled at a track he usually dominates, and JR was there, but VdM just had something extra. Big rumours that Sykes and VdM were to swap seats - wonder if that's still on the cards...
5. No need to delete your post, it's valid commentary, just keep in mind not everyone is caught up. So, something like Masterchef
Click if you dare
would be grand

I wish they would show these in full speed as well, not just slow-mo. The reaction times that these guys have are insane, folded the front twice and just kept it pinned. https://twitter.com/MotoGP/status/997455626224549902/video/1

Ah, but is it a Yamaha track, or is it a Jorge Lorenzo track, since he took five of the seven Yamaha wins?
8. You do. Before The Girl had a Garmin, she just used her Wahoo Tickr with her Samsung Health App and still got the points.
9. Nope, plug WINTER20 in at checkout for the extra 20% until the end of May

Uh oh. Edit: Also, WSBK. I've always been a huge JR fan, but my gosh he makes the racing so boring. I am so disappointed that he never got a MotoGP seat at Honda, but he probably knew that it wasn't his best shot - Yamaha would have been so much better for his smooth style. The way he stalked Chaz yesterday was insane. He was so smooth, Chaz was all over the place, and once he got past, he was gone. He's on a completely different level than anyone else at the moment. And instead of Kawasaki complaining that they were losing rev's because they were successful and invested in the sport, they've worked on improving corner speed.
15. I didn't watch the race, but just saw the results. Only 5 cars didn't get lapped???
16. NBC is picking up B99!!!
17. I really don't know to be honest. I think that the S1000RR played a big role in the (lack of) success of the RC8, launching only a year after the RC8 and pretty much redefining what a 1000cc Superbike is. Furthermore, it wasn't overly successful in racing series (apart from the German Superbike Series) and I don't think they captured the American market at all, which BMW managed to steamroller. I still think it's a dead sexy bike, and very few things are more awesome than a big twin (hello triple!) Edit: I don't know how many times I've watched this video, but it was a lot
18. So Fox cancels Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Last Man on Earth and The Mick. Gret. Ping Netflix!
