Last year there were 20 riders under 4 hours, you wont find much of a bunch so will have to rely on solo.

For 5-6k i would look at 2nd hand.

Harsh on Cyclelab, the management take road safety very seriously but cannot monitor each and every group. I have a cyclelab top which i bought in the store a few years back, so if i did wear it and rode like an idiot poor cyclelab will get the blame. On another note on my way to a MTB race this morning i passed a large group of cyclists on the road from one of the East Rand clubs (unlike cyclelab you can only buy the kit through the club) who were also riding in a similar fashion, so no its not unique to cyclelab

Just finished doing a wash and minor service on my 29.er using the bike stand similar to op pic, no issues with clearance.

My suggestion would be get the best Dual Suspension for the price, easier on the rear end as you going to be riding multiple days 26 or 29 not really important but that's another argument debate.

When you enter your chute they check your bike number, shirt number and gate pass and if you have a chip At least that's what they do every time to me, but maybe that's just because i look suspicious
