  1. Played much better than i predicted, they put some very good set pieces together against Mexico who are ranked 17th in the world, good match to watch unlike the Uruguay France game which was bland.
  2. Make your own Vuvuzela
  3. I guess blowing a vuvuzela and kitting your car with SA car flags and mirror socks is not happening Cervelo.
  4. Common instinct, if i see a Kobus Wiesse look alike heading towards me i give way, if i see a skinny heading towards me i dont.
  5. Cant really blame the dogs they are doing what's natural, use the pepper spray on the owners as they should ensure their dogs are not loose.
  6. In my running days i cant recall there been an issue with what we wore, shorts, vets, good shoes and away you go.
  7. As mentioned its a well know and reported issue although Avnic will act surprised when you tell them. Avnic dont repair them so your options are either DIY or upgrade to the 500 or 705.
  8. Seen the KTM MTB's at cyclelab, very nice.
  9. yeah also gripe at the cyclists taking the water sachets, i noticed a number discarded along the route, either drink and discard at the waterpoint or stick it in your shirt pocket and dispose it later.
  10. Obree at stage 2 and 3 i walked up to the guy at the coke stand and asked where can i get powerade, they shrugged their shoulders and said there is none. If as you say there were, perhaps the coke marshals can be informed.
  11. Nothing wrong with D'arcs, i wore a pair until they got smashed in a MTB fall, no imagine if they were R2500 posh brand and got smashed. I have a pair of Addidas but i only wear these on road races. I recently bought a pair of Bolles and rode with them on the Kremertart, was suitably impressed.
  12. My only gripe was no energy drink refill stations at stage points as in previous years and which i was counting on, they had coke only so i ended up riding stage 2,3,4 with only water, my overall times was the slowest of all the 4 i've done, wind on stage 2 was not too pleasant. Rest was well organized, very little motor traffic, feeding zones at the stages were efficient, motorbike mechs zooming along the stages helping out those with mech problems, cold castle at the end and delicious potjiekos made it enjoyable
  13. Waterbottle, Joe Low and myself, leaving for the groot trek down around 12.
  14. For internet you can also get advice on youtube, just type in bicycle maintenance scotty2010-06-03 06:00:19
  15. Better get riders doing your MTB trail to sign indemnity forms, when they see that sign the'll be too embarassed to use the sissy route and by using the hard core one could end up in hospital.
  16. Try contact Mallo by PM.
  17. Must be the bottom entry range, similiar to Makro and Game Raleighs.
  18. A few weeks back we did an MTB ride from Rynfield Spar to Bapsfontein or at least tried but found most of the trails were still flooded.
  19. Those guys are from Mars, the others are from Venus.
  20. I agree to some degree and no i wont stick to the road cycling as i enjoy off road although i suck at technical stuff. IMO there should be a balance, i wonder if races like Babbas lodge which is one of the easiest would be so popular if it was made extra difficult.
