  1. What are the Geax range like ? Reading up on MTB forum they have mixed reviews.
  2. There's a topic already https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/119433-bryton-rider-35t-bundle-on-special-for-r1399/page__hl__bryton__fromsearch__1
  3. Lets not also forget the last paraolympics where a bloated amount of officials all traveled business/1st class and the athletes were all crammed into economy.
  4. Saw her last week riding past ERPM golf course
  5. I would imagine weight diffs to be quite noticeable. Better bike and specs on all levels.
  6. I have ZTR Arch and been riding 8 months with no problems but then i have not put them no where near the punishment they will go through on the Epic. I'm sure many hubbers will have recommendation's and if you are buying from a shop perhaps they will swap the wheels. I did this with my road bike where the wheels it came with were not suitable for my weight and they swapped them out.
  7. Perhaps, me i would still be cautious. The Epic is a lot of money to spend and i would hate for my race to be over if i could avoid it. Some reviews http://www.mtbr.com/...290_157crx.aspx http://www.mtbr.com/...550_139crx.aspx http://www.mtbr.com/cat/tires-and-wheels/rim/stans-notubes/ztr-crest-29er/prd_450551_139crx.aspx
  8. Excellent value with Silverback, i have some doubts about the wheels though. Stans Crest are marketed as XC racing wheels and shown to be unkind to heavier riders. 70kg is well below the recommended weight but then you are going to punish them during the Epic.
  9. No, it will have no effect on your seeding which is the best 3. In these instances it's better to remove your chip before going over the mats.
  10. Plus 2 tubeless tyres
  11. Online entries close tommorow
  12. Wow, i like very much.
  13. Unacceptable report it to Hellopeter.
  14. It is a good deal, but i already have garmin 705, Nike GPS sports watch plus my HTC cellphone capable of doing similar, i cant justify getting another.

  16. Now my post makes no sense
  17. Cool, i missed it earlier this year now i got another shot to get my yellow number in 2012
  18. I get lost cycling round the block so my Garmin 705 works overtime and It's gotten me back a number of times when i cycle in areas i'm not familiar with.
  19. Tragic, especially as it's shown that there is zero truth in the rumors that rhino horn and animal bones achieve what they claim.
  20. We can learn from birds
  21. You would need to insert a map SD card into the unit to get roads/trails http://www.easygis.co.za/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_250_252&products_id=1459
  22. Under R8000 new is not going to get you a decent 29 whether HT or DS nor 26 DS but 2nd hand you could get a bargain . Buying new will get get a decent 26HT, which should be fine for duathlons as you not going to spend epic times on the bike. New bikes i would suggest Silverback, Axis and Merida.
  23. Plus 1 for Silverback, earlier this year i took my Silverback ModaNine in for service, they mentioned that there were a few problems with some bikes and would check mine out. Went to collect and they presented me with a new Mercury frame and parts swapped over, Silverback had given them the go ahead to replace even though they found nothing wrong.
  24. If you doing 22kmh in training you should be faster in a race, route dependent and number of riders taken into account.
