At the risk of raising the ire of Dirt*Girl, here is my uneducated, unqualified (never raced at this level) opinion (see signature). What really got me going was when Contador did his lovely little pistolero salute to himself on the podium. When you win a stage and you have that little trademark, then fair enough. When you are gifted a stage, that is a different story in my book. Perhaps Alberto does not need a yellow jersey as he has a yellow streak down his back. As I said, this is undeducated opinion. Sorry Dirty - I know you have a soft spot for him.

I agree with you. Here is another thought - what if the mommy person and daddy person are dopers at the time conception (not recreational chemicals, but rather performance enhancing thingies), would that help the child? I have probably just given some moron a "good" idea. Sorry.

It is not merely misguided kids that hack into websites - some very clever souls know how to fdo this. It goes deeper than misguided. Someone suggested employing them as security consultants - "poacher turned game keeper" is a very good way as long as they have reformed or else it is a good as getting a fox to guard the henhouse. Fixed.

I agree with the sentiments above here by BigH. An earlier post saya that what Bakkies did was part of rugby - you could not be more wrong. Retaliation is illegal, as is pulling a man's jersey. Two wrongs do not make a right (3 lefts sometimes make a right, but that is another story). I must be honest though, I am not sure whether Bakkies suffers from ill discipline or lack of discipline. Perhaps, as mentioned earlier, he just is not too bright. Whatever the reason though, he cannot safely be selected because of the points he could cost us and the selection problems that may arise from suspensions "earned". I just do not trust him to not get into trouble.

Why let something like fact get in the way of a good story?
