I was just browsing through some parts and saw that you get 2 kinds of front derailleurs, top swing and conventional. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these?

I'm not sure about the contractors, but what I do know, as per an interview on 567 Cape Talk, the operators of Chappies receive R2 000 000 a month, regardless of if it is open or not. That is actually quite shocking.

After all the training for the Trans Baviaans I got a new goal, doin my first marathon, running that is. At the moment my training consits of running on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, doing 7km per night, then on Saturday I'll do a 3.5-4 hours mtb ride and then do a long run, 15km on Sunday. Next week I'll up the running to 10km 3 times in the week, another lekker long bike ride and then a 20km on the Sunday I think for what I am doing at the moment this gives me a good balance of time on the feet and not loosing the endurance on the bike. O ja, very important, keep a log, that is the only way you'll know what you did right or wrong when you start/do training next season, then you know where to adjust, etc, etc.

Ok, I just spoke to the guys I normally ride with, they're all pretty much on their own and cross training a bit as well, so it seems like we'll only get started with that in the first week of October. I'm not sure about any other group rides.

I rode a bit with the guys last year. I'm not sure if they've started yet. I will find out.

Well, I think it''l be a bit difficult to measure 306.32mm in any case. So steel ruler in inches it is.

Just saw the video on chain measuring, basically show what Johan is advising us here, I need to go and look for a steel ruler now, just one question though, how many millimeter in 12 1/16 inche, trying to work it out but I'm not sure, can anybody help with this conversion please. Thanks

The other question is, do we give it for the best single post, or the best thread. If it is for the best single post, we might finish up with 50 nominees for the week, or something stupid like that. I think if one can get a "sticky thread" with ppst of the week, when you read something, you just drop it in there, no discussion about it or anything like that. We then put it in a poll and vote. Verseker Cassie,we can do that as well. Does anybody know how and where one can get the proper Hub logos and things. We must decide if it'll be a weekly or monthly thingie. Maybe, we select a weekly one and then all the weekly winners go into a montly draw, the winner there gets the mug/bottle. Is this something one need to take up with the admin guys. Seeing that we are at the end of the month, we can start from next week?
