    Mistake in first sentence: ...expect a totally revamped course that will ask a lot more questions that a conventional intermediate ride.

    Enjoyed the report once again. Shared a few kms with the more...erm...seasoned savages who started in L. Had a lekker chat with the okes. Was hoping i might witness some of the famous hammer but the guys said they were conserving themselves for the end.

    Just don't leave your snap-on bike racks on your car. Mine got stolen off my car last year whilst parked in a quiet side street. Be safe out there AND be lekker. See you tomorrow!

    Really hoping for cool weather on the day. How did 1650 as indicated on this page become 2000? Thats quite a jump. What is stage 2 now?

    Ja, not bad for the base coat, should look great once they finish painting it.

    THAT and (it was my first time this year. Remember it was getting warm by the time i got to Misty Cliffs) the cool air coming in off the ocean and the amazing view was unforgettable.

    First time i'm heading out there. Looking forward to it very much. In for the 65. Hope i don't finish with the sweepers again, but luckily they are lekker okes.

    THAT quarry climb to the top of the last hill on the 65km is still haunting me. Geez. Picked the wrong event to have a go at the full distance - longest walk of my life... The downhill parts were very lekker though. Will be back but might opt for the shorter route. Saw a very unhappy chappy about 12km into the 65. Looked like he hit the deck pretty hard. Hope he is OK.

    And very importantly save yourself from being disliked because you "ride in black cycling gear, to match their (your) matt black bike and black helmet, with no red or white light on (your) their bike!"

    Had this and a few other errors. Just keep trying. Eventually got it right using Chrome.
