  1. Secretly ironic?
  2. Tjop!
  3. Uh, three times!
  4. I have a carbon Raleigh , the rc 7000, which is little different and it's a great bike. Stiff, lightish with good wheels and after two years it still looks new. Saw one of the top pro ladies ride one to second place on the weekend, one of the Bizhub ladies. Team MTN won a quite a few races on them before they changed to Trek.
  5. Hi cat girl, fly mango was pulling the OPs chain, and, methinks, yours too. He was trying to be ironic and failing. Good for a laugh though.
  6. Doesn't fit on my shoulder!
  7. Freud must have had one hell of a hot mother. Hey, fly mango, I am starting in G, would your wife take my chip too? Please?
  8. I almost did, but only because of Dot's fall (a win is a win dot and I don't usually beat you so I'll take it!) Hope to see you at F2F Nick.
  9. Is there any way to watch this on TV? Only asking because Supersport is showing the Mogadishu marathon and Easter Island egg throwing competition but I can't seem to find our national champs anywhere...
  10. A win is a win Dot!
  11. Hi Nick, Yes, it was me on the GT drooling all over your Cannondale. Ssh, don't mention the Supersix, my wife might read this! I didn't see you after you passed me at the start of the climb so you must have had a great race, well done. See you on the trail. Ray
  12. I will happily ride either!
  13. Now those are cool. Steel SIR 9 bikes are also cool.
  14. He he, no, I don't need you to define cool for me. It just happens. Don't need a set of rules, do or don'ts. My 26" Zaskar is cool. Will always be. To me.
  15. You try too hard.
  16. Thanks for the positive action River Rat. Both girls were indeed from Tzaneen Cycling. Dot is having an operation and will be off her bike for 6 weeks or so. It sucks but MTB is not for sissies.
  17. Thanks, I figured it was something like that. Didn't mind it myself but my wife and our friend Dorothy both fell with one damaged shoulder the result. Sure, she should have got her gear selection right so we aren't complaining just a bit bleak at the end result of an otherwise great race.
  18. Fantastic race, my whole family went through to ride. Climbs seemed longer than when I rode it two years ago, I am sure they tweaked the 45 as well as the 75 km, but that single track is truly awesome, well worth the sweat getting up! Can't agree with about the bridge though, I didn't see the point of putting an obstacle with 200 m to go and a friend of mine broke her shoulder on it. Good luck with your recovery DOT.
  19. 105 is much better than tiagra, it's were Shimano starts getting good.
  20. I heard Phil and his twin say that those bottles tossed during the Tour de France are picked up and collected by fans.
  21. Ha, I was going to call the OP a mean name too but I see you lot have taken it off my hands. Oh what the heck: "no, you are a pig!" I feel better now. Will someone please respond to the customer complaint thread as I am scared of what will happen if I give in to temptation.
  22. Ssssh, don't let Rabobank hear you, they may stop kicking Liquigas butt if they know they are ONLY riding Giants!
  23. Just bought a set of American Classic 420 aero wheels for 5900.00 and they are lighter (1500 gr) and faster than my aksiums. Could not find non aero wheels that are lighter for that price.
  24. I own both and there is no comparison. The zaskar is in another league altogether. It is a very responsive frame with quick handling.
  25. 105 pedals work well. They come with cleats and the way they hang nose up makes cleating in predictable. They aren't as flash as Look or Dura Ace but are only 50 grams heavier and if you work out the $ per gram...
