  1. Why would you want to "get-off" on after-market decals?!?! Try the hairdryer or maybe even an exposed flame to soften the glue & plastic. Rather stick to the hairdryer. Any fluid solvent to "attack" the plastic if applied and left for a couple of minutes, might damage the paintwork though.
  2. Jeez, not again. Rip unknown brother in cycling
  3. Hmm. Maybe that explains all the glass on the side of the road. Fricked roadies.
  4. That bike looks as old as the mountains. I would not pay much more than R3k-R3.5k for it. Even that seems a bit expensive since a decent service on the bike will set you back a bit.
  5. Why so negative? Read this article - http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Mcdonalds it is ve trufe
  6. Cant they grind them up and add them to tyres.?
  7. Blue waffles and special fried rice... Not the breakfast of champions... I need a new keyboard.
  8. Seems like a very good idea. Just a pity it is on school day. 70 bucks for a speedo is a bargain!
  9. Thanks. Thats kind of lame...
  10. ...but what does it do...?
  11. Crater Cruise on Saturday. max: 43 deg C min: 23 deg C - rain and hail Ave: 33 deg C
  12. Jeez, so, so sad to hear. Condolences to the family.
  13. Jeez, that is one of the saddest stories I've heard in a very long time - on both accounts as Thermophage mentioned. Well done on you for helping him though.
  14. And...um... aah... check behind your ball sack whilst showering. The buggers tend to like the climate and easy living there. Found one there a week after I got back from Voortrekker Kamp back in the 90's.
  15. Me too! Was browsing through the travel brochure last night. Pity all the accommodation at the red Hope Pro2's and ZTR 355's are sold out though
  16. There is a shop in Sunninghill Village (SwimBikeRun) that sell the Ceepo tri/TT-bikes. If Batman had a bike it would be one of these. Jeez, they are beautiful!.
  17. Went there yesterday morning for a ride. New singletrack is awesome. Passed a dude cycling with his son. He had a gat strapped to his waist....
  18. ... so now they are mixing snake oil with silicon.... nice.
  19. Jeez, very sad to hear. I've never met him but had a couple of conversations with him on the Hub. Felt like I actually knew him since we were in "conversation" almost daily. Very sad news indeed. Condolences to his family & friends.
  20. There, I fixed it
  21. Imagine that. Next they are probably going take all the trees and put them in a tree museum and ask us a dollar to see them. Crazy stuff.
  22. Aah, the mechanic set from CRC.... R55k if I'm not mistaken. Always spend my imaginary lotto money on things like that
  23. IRLusForKakPraat. 50% on top of distributors mark up is close to 80% on overseas retail. Not cost price. Will buy from CRC and continue to support CWC locally.
  24. Nothing yet. Saving up for Hope Pro 2's on ZTR 355's with DT Swiss Revolution spokes.
  25. ...some excerpts from a post by Johan Bornman regarding the XT wheelset as I was looking at a pair as well ...However, keep this in mind. A new spoke for that wheel is in the order of R90-00. If your chain overshifts into the spokes, it is 6 x R90-00 before labour. A new rim is in the order of R1000+ Further, some people don't deserve Shimano (cup-and-cone bearing) wheels. They're klutzes with mechanical things and can't seem to figure out when a service is due and when not, thereby destroying the races and ultimately, the wheels.... This made me decide against the wheels.
