Ensure your Kickr CORE has the latest Firmware installed If the CORE does not have the Zwift Cog, just install normal 11/12Spd Cassette. You do not need the Cog, only the "Click". Just shift to your 14T (or closest to 14T) cog at the back and keep it there and use the Click for your gear changes virtually. Downside for me initially was that the "shifting" is not immediate, it takes about half a second to "feel" the change. You learn to anticipate the changes and getting caught in the "wrong gear" becomes less of a problem. In my opinion, with the above "set-up" with the casette installed, you're not limited to Zwift, as you'd still have your normal shifting available to you.

For my road bike I have it as (not sure how it will be for a 1x): Log in and "connect" to the bike. Go to the "Customize" section and select the synchronised shift option Top right are three Dots (...), select and see what options are given. I can set my front and rear drivetrain setup there

Yes If you go into the mode on the App, you can delete (3 dots top right). Once done, go out of the mode screen, and apply. Send me a PM if you get stuck and I'll share my cell, if you want to do a call...

Maybe delete the Synchronised Modes from the App and "Apply" the change? In theory you should then have Manual Mode only. Or "program" / Add a Semi-Synchronous mode and "apply"?

The Garmin device need to have "ANT+ Trainer Control (FE-C)" to control the trainer. If has this functionality, you can create your workouts in Garmin Connect, upload to your Garmin device, and do the workout.

Been discussed on some Cycling WhatsApp groups as well. "Work around" is to do dual recording ... Vitality will sync the recording that is saved from the Garmin device.

From experience due to the industry I'm in ... Batteries need to be shipped in a separate case to the bike. Battery case to be non-conductive and hold one battery only. Battery charge level must be well below 35%. If it's a Li-Ion battery, it will not be allowed on a plane, sea freight only. Lead-Acid batteries can go on a plane and must be accompanied by documentation from the battery manufacturer indicating that the battery is cleared for air freight / transport.

On the topic of substitution... What is the procedure to follow when substituting "in person" at the Expo? Do both the Original Entry Holder and Substitute Rider need to be there, or can the Substitute Rider collect the original entry and then proceed to the counter to do the substitution? Their site / rules are not clear as to what steps need to be taken.
