  1. Seems the shaking and snaking has been resolved, bike felt more stable under high speed braking this morning ... (Although I did not go hamfist on the brakes)
  2. Headset bolt was not tight, undid the bolt, made sure the the all was moving freely, and retightened. Once the wheel is back from being trued, I'll reset the brakes.
  3. There's a small "wobbly" spot on the rear wheel. Will have it looked at. My trueing skills leaves a lot to be desired...
  4. I'll monitor the issue after I now retightened the headset bolt. If it persists, I'll get the LBS and Distributor involved in the solution.
  5. Checked, headset bolt seemed a bit loose. Loosened and retightened, I'll monitor on my next ride.
  6. Good day All This past week-end, on two separate road bike rides, I had instances where under hard braking from high speed, on downhill sections, where the bike shook / oscillated violently. This is the first time that I've experienced this and it is a scary experience, especially with traffic around you. Releasing the brakes resulted in the shaking / oscillating ceasing. The bike has rim brakes. What could be causing this? Thank you in advance Gerhard
  7. Hi All With the "new" rules imposed by Oom Cyril, will the opening times of Suikerbosrand change? From a news article under its Parks section which deals with National and Provincial Parks: "Public parks that are allowed to open can only be accessed between 09:00 and 18:00..."
