  1. Play day at Banhoek. On the second session lekker in the flow one of these horned beauties was standing across the trail. Luckily he moved out the way most likely the look on my face scared him 😂
  2. As an old cyclist once told me, "dit maak nie saak wat jy ry nie dit moet getrap word".
  3. Could most likely be auto pause so they are posting moving time and the event posts total time.
  4. Pritty expensive for unedited photos. But hey at least a couple looked good.
  5. I must be lucky we received our photos last week already. Did you not get the email link?
  6. As they say don't stop till you see Jesus or the checkered flag 😁 thanks for the interesting insight. Best of luck for the rest of the week 👌🏻
  7. I saw him out there, hats off to him and well done 👌🏻
  8. 25000 people pushing for place, the first couple of km's would look like a battlefield with bodies and parts scattered everywhere.
  9. If @ChrisF came past me and offered help, let's just say I had a extra rope with me which would have been used 😂
  10. Why is there so much hate is a little strong word, dislike towards the top placing women. I'm not in the top/fast bunches so just trying to understand. If there's a big group and she is able to hang on, to me that's well done. I know unless I'm holding on to a vehicle I'm not going to be able to stay at that speed. I get they don't work in front but they are so small it's not like they are going to be blocking much wind anyway.
  11. I get what you are saying I'm sure it must have been fun. I'm not the smallest guy and a sub 3 is not happening anytime soon. But that's just it when I started cycling I was still recovering from a major accident and could not ride the 5km of Majik forest. 10 years of riding and I've done ulta marathons and multi stage races and this year was the most stressful challenge of being responsible for a special needs child in a buggy. The sense of accomplishment when we crossed the finish line is undesirable. Now that's just it what gets the cyclists blood boiling, it's working for years to get under the "magic" 3hour mark and some mis it by seconds and feel devastated. So when someone just buys the ability to do it you can see how that would upset some people. PS: I'm not attacking you or criticising you, I just want to give you a different perspective.
  12. I was not talking about you. As I said glad you enjoyed it.
  13. Cool glad you enjoyed it 👌🏻
  14. If your group was before I'd say 7am I get racing for time. We started 7h39 and even with the buggy caught up to so many bunches and there was so many unnecessary crashes caused by people trying to speed through without looking or carrying what they do to other people.
  15. I just don't see the point in racing with an Ebike. Don't get me wrong they do have their place like doing a quick 30km trails after work or getting people into riding. Saying you did a sub 3 but used a Ebike is like saying I knocked down Dricus Du Plessis I used a bat. But this is just my opinion.
  16. I'd like to have a look at the connection. We made a couple of the "tow hooks" for the bikes. There's always room for improvement.
  17. I've seen the carbon tub of the winners. Think the father/pilot is Mark correct me if I'm wrong.
  18. I am honestly not sure is it the black aluminum one or the one Lazer cut one? Would you mind sharing a photo. We are not looking to race that's not us at all, just want to make it more enjoyable for everyone and if we go faster awesome. 😊
  19. Well done to them as well, glad top 2 teams was normally aspirated 😂
  20. I saw those stops to late and sent my boet to get for me 😂
  21. These guys who won finished in 4 hours that's next level after them was a Ebike team at 4h35 I think. But it's all in good spirits and fun for the children.
  22. It was our first ever CTCT and doing it with the buggy and Levi just made it so much more fun/special. We will train a bit more this year. I only heard in January that Levi wants to do the full CTCT. We enjoyed it and not knowing what to expect decided not to burn any vuurhoutjies before the top of Chappies. 😁
  23. It's easy to know when we where going to slow cause Levi would sleep on the long climbs but as soon as the wind started rushing over him I could hear him laughing. He's the main reason I did the 109 last year we did the short one and he just wanted more.
  24. It was a lekker vibe and day.
  25. I know you guys didn't use any Ebikes but you are next level that's why our aim is the Ebike buggies 😁 Sure that carbon buggy doesn't hurt so bad 😜
