Was a lekker ride the wet and mud made it more fun, I think if it was perfect it would have been boring. Didn't have any issues with parking or bottle necks.

O how this has kept me up at night, because dreaming of it and waking up and not having it, my heart can't take it anymore ????????

Trails are looking great lekker grippy with only the od wet spot.

My bike took me real close to mother nature, right down on the dirt. ???? Can't really blame the bike I took a dumb line, still it was fun even hitting the ground. ????

Like the new klipheuwel trail. Makes my loop just that bit more fun with little less climbing. Start with Meerendal, Contermans, Hoogekraal, Fair Cape, Klipheuwel and home. Making the ride mostly trail and little as possible tar.

sorry only saw after I posted it's an old story. But I have only had my Fox forks done by Louis he and his team has a real passion for cycling. Even with a fork service they still go through the bike ????????????

our average ride is around 50km so it's no problem taking enough water and planning your route, but paying R300+ it's expected that there will be at least water at water points so I don't need to carry extra weight and enjoy the ride more. I hate riding with a backpack/camelback I will rather plan my route with a stop than ride with a uncomfortable hot back.

I did the 52 with being sick the whole week I thought I would just relax and have fun. Thanks to being placed the the last group, the only fun parts where spoiled by idiots with f all trail etiquette. The times I slowed at the start of the single track to give some space so box jumps in front of me and then on the brakes the whole way down. I will admit there was 2 who p@##ed me of so badly I turned into a box and was on their tyre the whole way down! I prefer the route of last year this year was much easier and boring.

Silverback has really come to the party in the last year. I like this and the new Speed carbon HT and the dual whatever that's called.
