    So what you are saying is that clean cyclists are worried about dopers winning races and denying them sponsors etc. But, the doper has already been caught and served his/her time. So you are assuming they are still doping after serving the ban. And also implying that there is no such thing as rehabilitation. And if you follow all the other doping threads, as far as everyone is concerned, all cyclists, especially pros (and vets) are dopers. So the ones worried about losing out on prize money and sponsors are actually the current dopers, and not the ones that doped, paid the price, and are maybe riding clean to avoid being caught again.

    And now that everyone has an Aple watch they have changed the criteria to get points which means a whole bunch of people will have to start paying for their watches :-(

    Great story. I grew up cycling to Deale and Huth in Main Street in the afternoons after school from Benoni just to buy so e spare aorta or clothing etc. was like a candy store. Please post more. I saw Gotty last year at track SA's. He hasn't changed over the years.

    Nobody is paying for Ashleigh to go to Europe. She is part of a pro team. As is An-Li, but Ash had commitments. If they used other races, everyone would say but look at the SA's results. They can't win. At least the team is the best based on last results. Is Anriette a bit old, maybe, but why should she be denied because of age.

    Racing will be different now that the ladies all start together each day. So leaders can't sit in with the fastest men and get a nice tow while those further back start with slower riders and have to pass more riders.

    The new standard is 4 years unless there are extenuating circumstances, like assisting authorities etc...........like that has ever worked.

    This is fantastic for An-Li, especially after her great results his year. And I hear a rumour another SA lady cyclist may join the overseas ranks. That is awesome if we have 3 ladies racing in top leagues. Go Girls !!

    Great riding by the MTN boys. Exceeded all our/my expectations. Just sorry Louis wasn't there to show the world his climbing abilities :-(

    This is a UCI rule not a CSA rule. CSA has to tow the line as a member. Applies all over the world. Was a huge issue in USA about it 2 years ago. I also think it only applies to racing licenses. I may be wrong. I do think it' s a daft rule. But then again, aren't a lot of rules in and out of cycling daft !!

    Many pros have asthma. Froome uses an asthma pump. No reason why you can' tried if you have gout. Unless you are having a gout attack, no reason not to ride hard. Water on the knee maybe a bit different.

    He acts as Mr Good guy and holier than though when it comes to doping. But he was caught and banned and never talks about that !!

    For me the challenge with power meters is how to have a training aid that covers different bike types and equipment ??? Pedal idea is good, but they do take a hammering on a mtb. Not sure the damage that could cause.
