  1. in that case next time your're in town use the KCNC and maybe I'll have a better chance of keeping up
  2. You can buy ET dolls on Amazon - but you have the wrong BMX - you need the Kuwuhara that said, it's a damn cool idea. I had the red burner like yours, never sell it. Only the rich kids had the proper ET model
  3. I've had many bikes done by CBR (carbon bike repairs) in Durbanville - they do good work and in my experience do very well in terms of booking in and delivery here are a few
  4. They are from my area and ridden a few events done by them, never had a bad experience apart from warm beer Always well run in my experience
  5. garbaruk have shimano cassette options - I don't know anything about shimano but I ordered one for a friend who says he's done around 5000km hassle free (mtb) Expensive outlay but cost per km makes their products value by bike industry standards anyway
  6. Have a look at garbaruk stuff - many options I run a 42 with a 10/50 and have everything I need for touring I change the front to a 38
  7. I run panaracer 50mm on my Curve GXR fits fine at the back and I have a lauf fork so I'm not sure on the curve fork - wider than that required that I pull out my BMX (pyga stage) That said I would happy go wider just for fun if my bike allowed
  8. The word bullying is bandied about far too freely these days This used to be bicycle faceboob now it’s bicycle scumtree , a commercial enterprise which is the owners prerogative Ive accepted this and buy and sell stuff here but find myself less involved in the community side Bit sad really but it’s evolution baby, good or bad
  9. Obviously the diverge can do the job but the roubaix won’t because the tyre size is limited to wider road tyres rather than gravel tyres. I mean you could ride it but it will be brutal - I think max width is 32mm so the short answer is not a good idea
  10. I want that old technics sound system if the turntable works
  11. No but a lot of shops selling dragon and and drunk dwarf merch
  12. Every morning starts the same way with breakfast on the boat whilst the bikes are unloaded I have fallen in love with my 3x9 hybrid and every day starts with a 4/5 km 400m climb roughly 10% but the roads are so smooth and the gradient so consistent The Croatian islands are simply stunning and we stop daily for a swim in some cove This package is a little less challenging than I’d like but it’s an older crowd of Euros the only drawback is that I cannot go explore on my own in the mornings or post ride as the bikes are loaded back on board
  13. Starting to lose track of what island I’ve been on but a lovely national park with an estuary and beautiful bike paths around a monastery
  14. Rental bike with my brooks saddle and my pedals - I’m absolutely in love with bike 1085 3 x 9 shimano and rides like a dream and incredibly comfortable - makes me wonder why I ride such a fancy bike
  15. More of the same, beautiful islands, lovely nooks and crannies and spectacular climbs on smooth roads
  16. Hvar island Croatia More of the same, great roads with lovely switchback climbs and and boat full of cold beer pretty hot though and this is early season
  17. Croatia by bike and boat - The island of Brac and these photos in the beautiful harbour inlet of Pucisca My former father in (it’s complicated) got bored of Covid restrictions and decided he needed company on his bucket list trip so here I am riding around Croatia because of his generosity bit of an older crowd mostly on ebikes and a lot of stopping but the riding is stunning
  18. Exactly what @Jewbaccasaid I don’t move much on the IDT and it hurts regardless of the saddle used if I have to use the trainer I cream up and use my best bib
  19. p[9q so my cat walked over my laptop whilst I was actually watching cycling not arguing about it and typed the above Said effin cat then followed the topic and I have an inbox full of this drivel Toolz (the cat) has had her bikehub privileges revoked
  20. plus the data further down the thread showed he laid down the kind of effort I do when I see a puff adder
  21. herein disproving my theory of him giving up the win
  22. I didn't want to take the shine off a remarkable rider and a remarkable win but since you've bravely pulled off the band aid, it looked to my untrained and highly unqualified eye the MVDP who always gives it his all, didn't before drawing your swords, please take it from whence it came, a middle aged, unskinny, armchair non expert with absolutely no scientific proof
  23. Some pointers 😂 take an ebike @Steady Spin if you want to keep up with matthys
