  1. You know you use your 2 person bike a lot when you keep it conveniently tucked away in your container
  2. your camel hide man needs to do the treatment to your saddle
  3. Dormant in 9/10 adults but a bit less risky for you as only prevalent in 5/10 children
  4. Epstein Barr which is the same thing I think but it’s supposed to pass in a few weeks - month 4
  5. Decided not to do it sadly - I’ve had a weird non Covid virus and can’t seem to puah myself without instant fatigue - all my joints are tender - millions of tests and apparently it’s in my head
  6. Busy week and a slightly over ambitious ride - wind, hills and lazy legs
  7. Simple fix - before you send across to your pc open the photo and crop it slightly or do an instant touch up and save or open on your computer and save as - the new file will upload “straight” I can’t tell you why though
  8. looks like he signed for Didata 🤣 and Victor looks like he's left Didata - be nice to see him win Not that I have any lack of admiration for any of the current guys expected to be there but I'd like a left field win like
  9. I have never needed one and plan never to ride anything where I might 😆 no money or skills clinic can fix my lack of talent or fear of falling. I really don't know why I still have a MTB. I think because it's so over capitilised and I do occasionally ride bumpier gravel
  10. It’s just about perfect now - there isn’t a kilo to drop there - mine is 10.5 with no dropper, no paint and some outrageously expensive kit I had collected pre covid to lose 500g on that bike would cost you a fortune stem 100g bars 110g deraileur cage 20g chainring and cassette 150g Various bolts 50g cranks 70g you might have 300g of paint on there and then saddle but comfort trumps weight in this area yes I have problems but don’t judge me from your glass house 🤣
  11. I can confidently agree although to see Gilbert have a last waltz would make me happy and even Sagan. I don’t like seeing champs struggle especially with injuries or illness
  12. My bike hasn’t taken me anywhere but a bit of decking whilst watching Amstel Gold
  13. A local race today. My new foolproof race strategy, and it’s working, is to start last. Makes me feel better about my lack of talent
  14. the normal C17 - usually I would use a 143 saddle (spez, farr and fabric scoop all nice) but on this I was told to go bigger. It's amazingly comfortable but seems to rub my bib. That or the pressure from my fat ass. I can lend you one to try if you like. Cost me R87 to courier to you. Needs a few rides. I have a brand new one which I'll lend you but the older one is more comfy and worn in.
  15. That was when this pricing madness really took off - I had collected parts for 2 years so many parts were pre boom. I sold off the frame and excess parts and probably made a 20 percent profit without ripping anyone off. For example I had one of the first AXS in SA and ended up selling the mechanical XX1 which covered the cost the irony is that I ended up back on the exact bike I sold to start the project I still wish I’d got the Mondraker
  16. What I get from this is I need to sell my house and buy all the bikes I can with the proceeds in 6 months, sell all my bikes, buy a bigger house and retire what could go wrong 🤣
  17. It’s not that difficult to pack some wheels and wait for sellers courier to arrive - I wouldn’t buy from a fellow cyclist who didn’t want to help me lighten my wallet I could maybe understand a whole bike but wheels …. if you are this determined, use bike hub pay and get them properly checked out. Good luck
