  1. but you can't tell your mates on the golf course that you have the most expensive Sworks on your Range Rover
  2. I agree with you wholeheartedly and was just teasing your outrage because you’re always so mellow I left the city because I can’t tolerate the same things you despise (plus I’m not a fan of humans in general) - that said I love loud music but fortunately my neighbours are far away.
  3. the outrage is strong in this one......unusual
  4. I think Spez missing a trick here with no frame options Nice bike and would love to migrate some parts on this as would many I feel. Do they come without branding?
  5. _C50_, on 29 Sept 2020 - 12:07 PM, said: Kevin Benkenstein uses one - he seems to ride occasionally. As a far more occasional rider I love my AXS, charging it once every 2 weeks or so. I have no doubt I'm going to forget one day, just hope its on a do able chainring otherwise I'm pulling out my other battery operated device, the phone I think a spare one is a great idea - they are tiny. I'd need one for stupidity rather than because I've munched the battery from riding too far in one trip I can put it in my toptube bag where I keep my coffee shop money in case one day I ride where there is a coffee shop.
  6. I have wasted so much money on local options that I have realised that buying Assos or more recently Rapha is more cost effective. I rash so easily that everything rubs me up the wrong way so it's not the kit, it's me Apart from the above 2 brands
  7. Instant Karma, love that guy but that move was uncool
  8. Oh dear this will cause a few sleepless nights
  9. Oopsy Julian
  10. This is bike hub - you can’t post too many pics of your bike - please post again with your black grips ????
  11. that's just perception skaters look like they are on drugs and cyclists look like they aren't
  12. I really like this, and I really like hipster Lachlan - I like the whole EFF vibe Hipsters actually proper riding bikes, no problem here. I am pro anyone riding a bike really, even the guys with the toight tops and belly's poking out. Even the guys around here on Spez's wearing matching kits who don't wave back at me in my own backyard Even the farm worker who wheelsucked me on his 1992 26er and then dropped me up the hill last week
  13. I just got those thingys that keep your handlebats straight - duties nearly the same price as the item. Be wary of tools
  14. Johan your pair looks great But if I may be so bold as to enquire whether you have ordered the new black grips ? Please I won't sleep
  15. usually these claims are made about mediums
  16. Only problem is if you look at your diagram, the bike would be off centre - sometimes the studs are annoyingly in the wrong place - strong magnet top tip - what stud finder do you use? - my Bosch one is wildly inaccurate to the point where I’m now a dry wall repair expert and groan everytime I’m asked to hang something
  17. You’ve been given a few options and you also get drywall plugs which you could use to anchor a nice piece of timber and then screw the bike mount to that - apart from a butterfly mechanism I wouldn’t mount the holder to a dry wall - you can only get away with your TV method so many times
  18. An AXS battery lasts 25 hours just so you know - I generally get tired after 24 hours non stop. I then test for 1 hour whilst my battery recharges and off I go everesting for another 24 hours Judging by where you ride I should hope you can get up those passes on a 36 front cassette and and 11 speed. Even I can and that's saying something As a matter of interest you can get some really good 11 speed options from Garbaruk - not cheap but incredible quality so good value per KM My AXS cost nowhere near your figure by the way and as a guy who has a few sets of Campy and love all things Campagnolo, AXS shifts smoother and better. Will it last as long, I don't know I wasn't saying the Campy stuff is rubbish, I was just saying they are pricing high and relying on brand loyalty from their customers (like me who in this case prefers AXS)
  19. and on that note John, where's my Colnago? I understand you have a busy schedule so I can wait. You get it in every sport. Kid comes 3rd in the U10's competing against four other surfers and his parents think he's going on the world tour. That's the problem with the eveyones a winner culture Meanwhile there are kids with nothing sharing bikes/surfboards/golf clubs with genuine hunger and proper talent.
  20. significantly more expensive than chorus 12 although I'm using rim brakes as a reference but then there is an extra derailleur For this money you are competing with AXS and even as a die hard Campy fan, it's a no contest
