  1. Service is impeccable - 4th order and so far never paid anything extra apart from clearance of R350 or so Usually gets here in a week with DHL
  2. ordered last week and arrived this morning via DHL. Shipping was free because of a special but generally their shipping is reasonable especially if you get a few orders together - they allowed me (or anyone) to mix the colours of the cage and pulleys I can't say enough about this product, think XX1 in better colours for a little less money. Their chainring options and sizes are unrivalled If you have a 1 x 11 and your looking for an upgrade, this is it. I got a 10/50 cassette and I could barely tell the difference between that and my eagle 12
  3. some bits for a new build on as yet to be determined frame
  4. I chatted to Pyga and got some honest advice - such a cool looking bike but won't work for my project.
  5. disappointing post of 2020 and that in this disastrous year is a dubious honour You have ruined my childhood retrospectively No Macgyver no, why why why
  6. as I understand it, parts attract no duties but not sure if I have just been lucky. A frame is duty free Ask them to disassemble and send 1 week apart with the invoice for the frame and the invoice for the parts - then vat only Someone agreed to do this for me and it worked
  7. but it's a real 2.35 because they aren't all the same
  8. ok but is it available? Like can you get one today?
  9. can you even get a hyrax? I've never seen one, looks really nice
  10. canyon's model is online but they do have local backup so you could probably get a demo ride
  11. same bike, different fork and different rear travel Mine was minimum of the above so in Stage Max guise I'm guessing it would be superior on technical trails
  12. looks a lot like my 6 year old open which is a compliment - Although my 6 year old open is a few grams lighter in a large Nice looking bike
  13. I have not ridden a stage max with the extra travel - but that was my point, the stage was so good that I couldn't say which was better when it should have neen the primer - even my mate thought his primer was marginally better. He is the better judge as I am cr@p. So this leads me to believe that a Stage max setup drills the Primer. Very non scientific conclusion
  14. I swapped out my stage (100mm fox) for my mates primer which had way more travel I was riding trails where I am admittedly rubbish. My XC setup was easily as capable as his "better" set up bike. Now that's easy for me to say because the Pyga was my bike. But my more skilled mate was impressed at how good my stage was. If I didn't have boost wheels custom made and a boost fork, I would buy another one as I'm struggling to find a 2021 bike I really lust after
  15. Great racing That’s 2 weekends now Trek has tried to dominate a classic and been found wanting Steve Cummings is an awful commentator offering little insight and with the personality of a tree. Max should walk into that persons place of work and break their arm whilst they are doing their job. Remco, that was sickening and I feared worse. Emergency response was rapid
  16. Long overdue for Stuart Marais, great guy and seriously dedicated
  17. still one of the nicest bikes around 5 years after development, you will be so happy on this
  18. Just zoomed in - didn’t know there were any of you left - thought the last 2 were at seal point both in their 60s
  19. And you stand the right way round
  20. I'm going to start with the look, I feel like I can get there The sound, well I'll get to that after I win the TDF in a couple of weeks
  21. I'm 1'83 and have Colnagos in 56/57/58 although sizing can be misleading - my 56 for example is 56 (BB to top tube) but 58 top tube to headset Yours should be just about perfect for you and unlikely to be too small - just get used to the roadbike thing and then slowly start tweaking it like maybe some wider tyres. Show that baby some love and you will be rewarded
  22. this explains why I am A - slow B - fat I need to up my mileage, downsize my bike collection/addiction and sew my greedy mouth shut
  23. That’s actually perfect - check everything is tight and lubed and go riding and have fun
  24. I see you like the fuller figure musicians The way I've been going I might start tinkering around with my guitar again soon, at least I can get the look right
  25. look on the head tube lug, you'll see the logo - also the BB (underneath)
