  1. how long did it last, just ordered one?
  2. you're a super patient man G, hope you get your bike soon
  3. I'm sure this must have been on this thread and/or I'm incredibly stupid but on my old bikes when fiddling about I often put the saddle on backwards. Some of the older seatposts are easier to work with upsidedown rather than on the bike. Dumb I know and it hasn't just happened once or twice
  4. I love his stuff and discovered many cool components from following what he does Quite a few component companies work closely with him and lend a hand
  5. This is how I roll unless I’m showing off, then i up my game
  6. 880m - a fast smooth but twisty section down and a thigh burning return back up to the start
  7. Found a gravel road I didn’t know existed about 20 mins ride from home - where I live a 50km ride comes with 1000m elevation as standard - was really nice to do 50 and 500 today - that’s flat for me and at 95kgs I feel no shame when I need to use my 50
  8. In the sunshine I’ll take a pic of the sparkly cranks just a for you
  9. So obviously it’s not as good as the Scalpel technically but to me it’s so much better because I’m so much happier
  10. I have a set of builders gloves next to my floor pump for this very reason - most of my bike injuries come from maintanence
  11. with the battering you're taking I might be able to keep up now
  12. That bike is too
  13. It’s madness - I now almost never ride my roadbike and I live where it’s considered safe - this is no way to live. Apart from aggro drivers we now have to live in fear of getting killed for our bikes and phones Glad you are safe B
  14. Phantom Pass Knysna
  15. A very lazy flat ride - a weekend away where beer took preference over bike. Will have to make good this week as that was definitely not the plan
  16. loved Pulp and though this was good Picked a great song so respect there but then sucked big time - band was very good
  17. that is priced high even for international standards - and these days old cars are worth more original or restored to original. This looks a good job but your market on this one is Aus or UK and at 50 000 pounds excluding shipping, that's a big ask But I'm sure in Cape Town someone has the cash to have a beautiful car that goes 80km and competes with a Landy on the oil consumption and spillage I wouldn't mind owning it
  18. That’s Widerness below and the road up to Hoekwil and the 7 passes
  19. Work has not been going well for a while - 2020 and it's madness hasn't helped so today I thought why even bother Probably the best business decision of the year
