  1. They are mounted with post mounts and I'm thinking of trying to source those spacer things that is like a ball sitting in a bowl... Not sure what they are called. Will that mean a upgrade in disc rotor size though?
  2. So I'm going nuts with my SLX brakes on my GT - the rear brakes just won't stop rubbing. I have done the whole loosen the bolts and squeeze the brakes while tightening the bolts - that didn't work. Then I tried aligning with an old mark one eyeball, that didn't work as I couldn't properly see, even with a torch shining through from the other side. Then I went, loosened the bolts, stuck a business card though on each side and squeezed the brakes while tightening the bolts, no joy. Short of bleeding the brakes I've tried everything, and I'm not sure bleeding will do anything as the pistons seems to retract all the way in. That, and I haven't bled brakes before and I'm a bit scared I stuff it up. This is the rear brakes by the way
  3. I thought maybe they cut themselves on the glass trying to scavenge Glad to hear they're ok!
  4. She's got demon eyes or crazy eyes or something - a date with her probably won't end well..
  5. Twice as much as half its weight.
  6. http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/199q7sow0aasagif/ku-xlarge.gif How on earth is this possible? http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/199q6vba587xagif/ku-xlarge.gif
  7. You fixed it with a cable tie? Hardcore man.. Hardcore.
  8. Using it on a 29'er and I think the bike is a bit big for the rollers I have - the front wheel is riding "past" the front roller. Only way to describe it. So sudden accelerations are met with nervous moments and a lot of pant pinching, however, you learn to live with it Maybe take bike and measure if you haven't bought yet.
  9. This might help as well http://www.thingiverse.com
  10. Might be able to help you there..
  11. No Dota2 mentioned? Free and addictive as heck - if you can get past the initial learning curve.
  12. Still on the cards - just gotten a little busy lately. Will update on thread though.
  13. Why is the picture called Junie 2013 if it was taken yesterday?
  14. Please tell me they have some more....
  15. +1 What was the financial damage?
  16. Hope the execs were sitting down when they got the news..
  17. I hope they saddle up, it's going to be a tough ride.
  18. You only drill open the one end, so the existing lugs would still be there, but will allow a cable to pass through.
  19. If they get caught - I hope they sit for a long time.
  20. Will try doing this going forward - and will try to make of not removing wheels as much anymore. Thanks for the assistance!
  21. Have 9mm QR in front. I think that the tension might be a slight bit different each time and this causes the alignment of the fork to move - moving the caliper and stuffing up the brakepad alignment as well. My current diagnosis. Have a RaidOn Fork.
  22. Had the rotors out and checked with spirit level more times than I wish to remember - pulling the brakes with wheels out requires me to take out the pads and push the calipers back in, everytime..
  23. I need to loosen the caliper and do the whole bite onto caliper while fastening bolts at least every 2nd ride - and they go out of alignment quite a bit. Thinking I might need to bleed them as a last resort..
  24. I assume this means to release and then re-engage the brake lever? I need to do this on almost a weekly basis - really trying to figure out what is going wrong with mine.
