Does anyone have any experience with these wheels? Specifically the Flowtrail wheels - reading up on the web it seems that the freehub seems to self destruct after a worryingly short distance. Or should I stretch the budget a little and get American Classic 29er wheels?

I know my Giant shock pump doubles up as a normal tube pump - so it allows switching between presta and shrader valves, the valve on a fork is normally shrader, so just check that the fitting is the right way round.

Will upgrade front brake to a 180mm shortly, will have to upgrade the disc to match the rear one anyway Front - some Tektro disc - rear is now an XT Ice-Tec.

It is quite warped. Was actually shocked to see it - another lesson learnt, don't lean on the back brakes, too much heat, not enough stopping

Update - switched wheels and the disc spun like a hero. Took my wheel to Northcliff cycles and got a new disc put on - problem solved.

I like the Cannondale solution more. Actually using the electronics instead of just basically changing physical cables for electronic cables. Granted, it'll probably be a lot more expensive, but seems to be a bigger leap.

I cycled to school and back - it was fantastic. Nothing beats the feeling of getting on your bike and going home while others wait for their parents to come pick them up. Only caught rain 3 times in my school career - got wet more often when out training.

Question. My wife has a 26" bike with centrelock rotors, mine is 29" with 6-bolts. Can I swap the rear wheel to check if hers rubs? Spacing should be the same?
