You only drill open the one end, so the existing lugs would still be there, but will allow a cable to pass through.

If they get caught - I hope they sit for a long time.

Have 9mm QR in front. I think that the tension might be a slight bit different each time and this causes the alignment of the fork to move - moving the caliper and stuffing up the brakepad alignment as well. My current diagnosis. Have a RaidOn Fork.

Had the rotors out and checked with spirit level more times than I wish to remember - pulling the brakes with wheels out requires me to take out the pads and push the calipers back in, everytime..

I need to loosen the caliper and do the whole bite onto caliper while fastening bolts at least every 2nd ride - and they go out of alignment quite a bit. Thinking I might need to bleed them as a last resort..

I assume this means to release and then re-engage the brake lever? I need to do this on almost a weekly basis - really trying to figure out what is going wrong with mine.

Personally, I think safety needs to be cut back quite a bit. People get used to it and take chances they wouldn't take if they didn't, for example, a harness. Look at the sky scrapers built in the 40's and 50's. They didn't have any safety gear and they didn't die daily. Then you also have the matter of Darwin....

I was out of the game for 5 years - various reasons. I have had +/- 2months to train for the 94.7 and I was absolutely shattered. So in my case - more than 2 months.

Did you ride with a garmin or similar? They can give you official time from that. needs to be GPS though - not speedometer

Buy shimano. Or Avid, they have a built in safety feature of making a helluva racket, so other riders know you're coming.

Resurrection. So GoPro's was banned from being anywhere except your handlebars at yesterdays' 94.7. Why is that? What is the possible reasoning behind it? Besides it being a CSA rule ofcourse...
