  1. It's because you are using American "tires". You need to use European or South African "tyres".
  2. Over the years I have tested said bike shop a few times for various items, and they have always failed.
  3. You got air in the lines from the bike being upside down. Time to do a full bleed.

  19. Nobody, I only waited a week. Order was placed with CRC on 1 Feb, and it was shipped on 2 Feb, and arrived yesterday.

  21. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction for trying to get a refund from SARS. So my order arrives at the PO from CRC, and I collected it late yesterday afternoon just before 5pm. It is quite a large order so it is split up on two way-bills, but with the same invoice. On each of the Parcelforce Declaration forms they have declared the value of the goods as being half of the total of the invoice. Now, on the Post Office Manifest, they charged VAT correctly for half of the value of the goods, but on the seccond Manifest, they have charged VAT for the full amount of the invoice and not only the half value as stated on the Declaration form. When I paid at the Post Office, I thought that the amount was a bit high, but I thought that maybe I was charged duties + VAT. I only checked the invoices when I got home and noticed that they had made a mistake with the VAT. I know that if you are a registered importer with a VAT number, you can get SARS to credit your VAT account, but as an individual, how can I get a VAT refund? Does anybody know with whom I can take this up with?
