  1. Shimano XT 12 Speed Drivetrain. | Complete Groupsets | Bike Hub Problem solved. Bargain them down to 8K (asking 9K) 23k-15k (sale) = 8K Thank me latter
  2. Just a heads up to sellers, the TROLLS are back. Have a frame up for sale and last night get two interested parties who had just registered on the hub with exactly the same message. Can't even spell properly. Even used a screen shot of my sale item as their user pic.
  3. If you are JHB based, Northcliff Cycles would be your best bet
  4. Easy solution. Do away with the saddlebag. Thats why jerseys have pockets. Rule # 31: // Spare tubes, multi-tools and repair kits should be stored in jersey pockets. If absolutely necessary, in a converted bidon in a cage on bike.
  5. Male 54 1.79m and shrinking 84 KG 54 Road Bike X 2 L MTB Bike
  6. I tore all the tendons in my Ankle beginning December last year. Ankle fully healed but still battling the motivation bit 4 months later, so don't beat down on yourself.
  7. Tomorrow Land pumping in the earphones and you're good to go
  8. No idea. The humor in me would say drainage screws in the event water gets into the frame? Not possibly for cable guides?
  9. Proven to never failed and trusted by many for decades. 🤣🤣 On a serious note. Have a spare Garmin dual that would look to part with for R750
  10. They are bloody useless. Dropped my HR monitor off with them on 15 Nov 2023 for assessment/repairs as was faulty. Was told I would receive a SMS with the diagnoses and the applicable resolution. Crickets. Get a courier delivery early Feb 2024 with a new HR belt and sensor and invoice for R1500 (WTF) Needless to say, no monies have been paid and now have a spare after having bought a new one in December last year.

Won't be using them any time soon. Although their prices are very competitive, shipping costs are just OTT: Conti X King MTB tyre:
  12. Easier if you send him a direct message. Click on his/her user name and select message. Also that way you are not posting your contact details for the whole world to see.
  13. Just watch out for the odd Baboon.
  14. We used to have a holiday house in Plett (Keurbooms). Would often do a ride out to Cold Stream and back. As mentioned all depends on what distance and where in Plett OP is residing.
  15. If I recall, road past airport is gravel as well as the R340.
  16. Thanks. Thats why we call on the Hub knowledge. We will have a back up vehicle. Other option (incl's N1) is Britstown to Beaufort West. Then onto Matjiesfontein and CT?
  17. Road. Would look to stay in BB's / Guest Houses each night with a back up vehicle. We did similar in 2021 (JHB to DBN) for Amashova
  18. Hi hubbers. We are toying with the idea of doing a road ride from JHB ( Vanderbijl) to Cape Town either late this year to tie in with DC or early next year to possibly tie in with the Cape Cycle tour. Would like to know if anyone has done anything similar and what route they took and other valuable advice. We are wanting to avoid the N1 at all costs (thus the end in Worcester) and the intended route is as per below with approximate daily KM's: Day 1 – Stonehaven to Welkom: 226 KM Day 2 – Welkom to Kimberly: 237 KM Day 3 – Kimberly to Britstown: 253 KM Day 4 – Britstown – Loxton: 187 KM Day 5 – Loxton - Sutherland: 207 KM Day 6 – Sutherland - Worcester: 242KM
  19. If you have the right tools and know your way around a bike, costs nothing. A good learning experience and fun at the same time. (if no internal cable routing - that is a bitch to deal with LOL)
  20. Always had excellent service from both Janos and Naas.
  21. Correct - Gibbons at Lidl Trek for 2024/25 Reiny and Willy will ride for China Continental for 2024
  22. Pretty much sums it up.🙂 Good luck to all and stay hydrated as best as possible.
  23. Off topic 🤣 He is riding quite a bit with Mr Beers. Matt is doing Attakwas. Wonder if Sagan will do it for fun?
  24. 1 X set up. I even run a 1 X on my road bike. Used hate the constant chain rub on the FD and no matter how much fine tuning I would do, it was always there so decided extreme measures were in order. Binned the FD and run either a 42 or 44 chainring with an 11/34 cassette.
