  1. Just hope the wind plays along, gatvol for this wind we are having for the couple days now...

  4. Chainring bolts from Rapidé for my gravel bike. Fantastic service and stupid fast delivery. New chain for the road bike from the one and only Summit Bikes. Always a pleasure dealing with Dominic, friendly, helpful and beyond excellent pricing.

  7. Hi David, I did a Zwift Race this evening and I saw there was a difference in TSS score. Unfortunately I did not capture the 'Ride Report' but Zwift TSS were 66 and ICU 36. I have noticed the same for previous races/workouts. Is there perhaps a setting that I need to tweak? Thanks.
  8. Really wish we had a climb like that here in Durbanville...
  9. Oh Snap! RIP Commuter
  10. Yes, except for the plain black bib which I bought. Finally price was R1035.
  11. Must say, I approve of these quality Vye Bib. better than my Ciovita's...
  12. AWESOME article! Thanks for the share. #commutingFTW
  13. I agree with you David, I think it is my low FTP... Will tweak my FTP to the estimate and will put an ramp up test for later this month to confirm the results. I also hope my FTP is the same as the intervals.icu estimate, that will be awesome! Thanks again for all the hard work and effort on the site - makes tracking my fitness and progress a breeze.
  14. Hi David, I use Strava Sauce extension to look at my critical power after a ride. I did see there is a difference between Strava Sauce and intervals.icu, mainly due to the 'Power Spike' option. I managed to fix it by setting it to 99. Is that fine or not accurate? I must be honest, I haven't done an FTP in a long time (too scared as well). But with that being said, I knew I could hold 479W for 1min because I used my computer's lap function and with the power spike set to 30 I was getting less which did not seem right to me at all. Thanks.

  16. Man, I Love This Bike #gravel
  17. Titan is really doing good with their designs and I like it a lot. Good to see youngsters like Rossouw Bekker promoting the brand a bit. I would gladly through my legs between that gravel bike, heck it looks sexy. Wish you safe and happy miles full of smiles.
  18. +1 Love my Wahoo HRM but I do experience the same when cycling as you stated.
  19. Anyone tried this bib before? http://enjoyfitness.co.za/product/reptilia-mens-marathon-bibshort/ The two reviews looks promising.
  20. Apologies if this is a dumb question but how does one work out your W'J?
  21. Hi David, My estimated FTP is fixed now. I checked this evening after my ride and my estimated of 235W is way more accurate compared to the previous 304W (one day...) Keep up the hard work, really loving the website.
  22. Hi David, Is there a way that you can change/adjust the estimated FTP? There is no way that my FTP can be 298W. I was off the bike for some time and lost quite some fitness.
