I get your point if you're referring to the section through Paarden Island. But once a cyclist gets to the junk market tariff lights, I'd rather be taking my chances of a mugging all the way through to Melkbosstrand on the cycle path, than the chance of being struck by a vehicle on the road. Both cycle lane and busy roads are in full view of each other for 20 km's.

I've emailed them to check. Maybe I'll get some complimentary tickets to the final for pointing out their mistake.

52km and 30km sold out. Suggest you enter online. No late entries. That leaves the 78km and 15km. That's what makes this event special. Numbers are known ahead of time, and organisers plan accordingly.
