  1. Quick update - the decals are apparently all sorted and the frame should be getting the new lick of paint this week.. as soon as I have some pics, I will upload them.. getting excited to see how it comes out..
  2. slight hijack, 2012 Sani profile stickers stuck so well on my top bar that it pulled the top layer of clear coat off my frame when I removed them ;-( if I see a second hand bike with an epic sticker on, I know its taken a hammering and wouldn't be that keen on purchasing..
  3. cycle lanes - aka extra taxi lanes??

  5. didn't he do this a while back, went through the back of a cars window??
  6. better save me a set bru, I need for a few races - Trirock, 5150, 70.3 and IM
  7. the biggest factor with the monster is the terrain, the total ascent is nothing, its the rocky, bumpy, sandy route that takes it out of you, double the total ascent to factor in the terrain to understand how tough it is.. its a great race, but catches me out every year.. I did it first in 2007 and vowed never to do it again, then I rode the epic and after that I thought, now I am ready - I wasn't, it still broke me ;-)
  8. haha
  9. sent you a PM
  10. You can do this yourself, but it will loosen up again. the wheels are fine with a bit of play apparently, stiffens up when you are on the bike... don't over tighten it..
  11. Just be careful with the design of the clamp, the frame seems to be designed to take a post mount clamp, it may not handle a normal seat post inserted with a normal clamp.. could break off and then your frame is toast..
  12. for sure, must work on a system to strap the snugnsafe to my tt bars for the IDT sessions...
  13. lets pray the rain stays away and that I can run after the bike this year....

  19. Howsit guys with Tri season in a dip at the moment, I decided to strip my Tri bike and get it resprayed. thinking of going raw carbon, with a clear coat and the branding in black (maybe thin red pin stripe around the lettering) will have minimal branding on the fork, down tube and stays I think. Want to go for a nice stealthy look will post pics as it progresses. here is the pic of the stripped frame so far.
  20. Very nice, just slightly more than your original budget I assume???
  21. glad you alright bud, also a recent victim\survivor?? of theft on my bike, it sucks - but you are alive, that's all that counts..
  22. I will send a lawyers letter to the guy with the expenses I want to claim from him and make a demand, it will hopefully make him sweat a little bit !!
  23. Yip, my wife is lawyer and she has spoken to her mates that deal with these things, they say its not worth claiming if the it isn't for a huge amount.. R30k isn't worth their while ;-(
