  1. I do, indeed, own.
  2. Oh great, now the peanut gallery think their opinion should be heard as well.
  3. Maybe it's too early but this post doesn't make sense to me either. I'll try reading it again later when I've had some more coffee and have woken up more.
  4. Curious. Forgot to check earlier. When you said bogus feminist rhetoric, did you mean all feminist arguments are empty rhetoric, just Serena's or just in this instance?
  5. I saw too many tiny men like that umpire as a kid. I'd see them make my mom cry, because she was an easy target, using their tiny power to put her in her place for daring to raise her voice when she objected to the way they dismissed her and refused to listen to her. Then, my dad would show up and suddenly I could see them gulp as they realised who he was and then it was all, "We are so very sorry, it was all a misunderstanding, please understand, we were just following the rules..." Following the rules is fine. Penalizing someone for breaking the rules is fine. Doing it unfairly and only when you feel like it is not.
  6. Not sure I understand your post.
  7. "Bogus feminist rhethoric". That's where my problem comes in. You and James call it that, while I saw a tiny using man using his tiny power to lash out at a woman who had dared to embarrass him in public. Something he never did while enduring similar or worse from Nadal or Kyrgios, from what I've read.
  8. Based on what I've read, while I don't approve of the way Serena behaved, that umpire clearly decided he wasn't going to let an uppity black woman talk to him like that and he abused his power to try and put her in her place. * This view might be slightly prejudiced by the fact that James Woods supports the umpire.
  9. That layout for the gears would annoy me endlessly.
  10. Ignore Gen. It's not that kind of movie, unless (like all the Guardians) you have some kind of unhealthy obsession with Thor's body.
  11. Not sure if it's the song or the way this guy moves so freely over the floor.
  12. Not often one sees a wild baby Benz being born.

    Who remembers?

Does anybody recall watching this as a kid?

First movie I ever saw at a theater (if it counts) might have been this one. I vaguely recall being small at a drive-in and somewhat confused about why my parents were so excited to watch the "seekoei" movie. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51G4bNrRW3L.jpg
  15. Freakin genius.
  16. Nice. I used to enjoy watching those Crusty and Nitro Circus shows and the X-Games.
  17. Somebody recommended Barry to me and this turned out to be an odd, wonderful offbeat dark comedy. Only 8 episodes and not everyone will enjoy it, but I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to watch something a little different.
  18. Edit: Double post.
  19. Yebo, even though I'm a big superhero fan I've had to give up watching all those shows on CW - just couldn't stand all the angst and drama anymore. And I probably won't watch more than an episode or 2 of Ruby Rose as Batwoman. But I feel obligated to *cough cough* offer 'moral support'.
  20. Deadpool 2 (2018) 8/10. Well, as expected, Deadpool 2 was worth the wait. I knew it was going to be funny but I didn't expect there would be a decent story with some heart between all the banter. The first one was slightly funnier with better action scenes, imo, but this is a worthy successor.
  21. *sets TV to Record*
  22. Those pesky kids.
  23. Year Hugh goe. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
  24. Avengers: Infinity War (2018) 8/10. Finally! Pain in the butt waiting for the official digital release so I can watch a good HD copy at home while trying to avoid spoilers, but it's a price I'm happy to pay so I never have to set foot in another theater again and have the whole experience ruined for me by entitled scrotumbags. What a blast! Don't know how much the Russo brothers have earned from this franchise but they're worth every penny (and by penny I mean millions of dollars).
