  1. Thanks for the info. Pace sounds good. I rode the 200km Audax this past weekend at an average of just over 32km/hour. So I should manage the quicker group. Average around 10 hours on the bike per week in PTA at the moment. Where do the guys head that leave from the O'reily BP in the mornings and how far do they generally go? I will be staying very close to that garage. Thanks!
  2. It looks like Benoni is a quiet place! Anyone else out there that rids a road bike in Benoni in the mornings? Does the tour de frans group still ride in the mornings?
  3. Hi all Moving from Pretoria to Benoni at the end of April. Are there any early morning groups that ride from the Benoni area during the week and on the weekends. Looking for a road bike group mainly that averages above 30km/hour on most rides. Any input or contact details will be appreciated!
  4. Thanks Wessel! Appreciate the feedback. Looking forward to hitting the trails tomorrow! Cheers
  5. Still no email. When will the other emails be sent out for those that entered yesterday and the day before?

  7. Ok no problem. Will wait for an email tomorrow hopefully. Cheers
  8. I entered yesterday. Where does a seeding of 31 put me anyway?
  9. Hi Wessel Have not received an email yet with my seeding for the marathon. I have a Saseeding index of 31, which batch does that put me in for the marathan? My full name is Craig Kingham. Thanks Craig
  10. Entered! Looking forward to some good trails! Always fun at van gaalens! And it will get me out of bed as well!
  11. So thinking about doing this race! Did the Joberg2c and the Sani2c a month ago and have only ridden three times on the indoor trainer since then in the past two weeks. Wondering if I will manage the marathon on Saturday? Any thoughts out there?
  12. That's awesome news!! Will we be able to get our joberg2c amped units charged with you as well during the two nights during the Race version? Thanks
  13. Start time for each day is different. Best everyone actually goes and reads the final instructions and not rely on the info from the hub and then blame it on bad organization!
  14. Take some time to read the final instructions from farmer glen. Was sent out in an email during the week. The final instructions can also be found on the sani website on the notice board. It contains the start times for each day...
  15. Most of what you need to know about the race can be found on the Sani2C website. Very useful information there. Go check it out.
  16. Yip, I did the same at Joberg2C. What is your training like in this week towards Sani2C? Doing anything specific or just resting up?
  17. To all those that rode Joberg2c like myself a week ago, what training are you doing in this week towards the Sani2c? Would love to know what others are doing as I am just resting at the moment, and planning maybe 2 short high intense rides on the weekend and that's about it.
  18. My Joberg2c partner did less than you, he was sick with flu 4weeks before the race and then had his appendix out 2 weeks before the race and he managed the Joberg2C and we went under the 14hour mark for the Sani2c leg! You should be fine, just don't race it and take it easy and enjoy the experience
  19. I am in for the 65km race. Anyone else doing this race that is on the hub? What do you think the conditions will be? Is there a chance that it will not be too muddy!
  20. My new single speed project build is complete! Was really fun to build up a bike from scratch! Full carbon 29er Single speed bike weighing in at 8.3Kgs. Could be sub 8Kg with slightly lighter tyres and rims. It's up in the classified section if anyone is interested in a really light fast racing single speed ready to hit the trails! http://www.thehubsa...._id=82075&new=1
