The problem is that finisherpix is the worldwide photographer for IronMan - they do all the events, so in SA we can't tender for it... we just have to go with what IM says. Last year is was marathonpics doing the photography, pics were great, prices were ridiculous!!! This year prices and pics are just shyt! It's a real pity, and I can't see anyone buying photos... so it's waste actually!

I might join you next week, and make the trek from the northern suburbs - it's always fun riding with you headhunter DC team mate (my bike hasn't been unpacked from IM in East london over the weekend)

I rode on Giel Basson all the time, never had any issues... from Burgandy estate side it takes you all the way to Stellies (eventually becomes the Stellenbosch Arterial)

When i flew with 1Time to IM70.3 last week, they told me that my CO2 canisters can't be in my hand luggage, so i put it in my suitcase with them watching - no problems... but you are limited to only 2 as far as i know...
