  9. Hey Hubbers So my issue of the week is my TT set up. My bars are too low which is effecting my lower neck when trying to look forward. My stem is currently at 0 degree and I am reluctant to flip it purely because it wont look great! I have been searching for spacers for these bars and even looking into buying blank carbon bars which come with everything I could possibly need. The problem with importing goods is quality control, wrong sizes and if I need more. I have attached a picture of me on the bike, if anyone is a guru at set ups and can point me in the right direction of a solution that would be great! cheapest is always the best just not flipping the stem! haha Thanks Shane

  11. Hi there, I have a mountain bike that i use for training. However, I have recently entered a triathlon with a 90km cycle so I am looking for a Road/TT bike that I could hire for the event as well as use regularly (once a week) to get used to it? I've seen there are a few places in CT that offer for R300 a day but then I still need to get it to Stellenbosch so by the time I do the Triathlon I might as well have bought myself a new bike (the race is in September). Does anyone know a cheap place in Stellenbosch to rent a road bike, or is anyone themselves willing to lend/rent me their bike for two hours on a weekend to get some time in the saddle? Feel free to comment/PM Thanks! ps. I am quite tall (193cm) so a large or XL bike preferably

On Sunday the 29th March he completed open water 3.8km swim - then topped that with the 180km cycle and 42km run in the Iron Man championship in Mandela Bay. A great cyclist and runner, Songo’s dream of competing in Triathlons would remain that –unless he could learn to stay afloat and then to swim. Click here to view the article

  25. I'm looking into purchasing a GPS tracking watch to track all three Tri disciplines. I went to Sportsmans Warehouse this past weekend (purely because of the range they stock) but there doesn't appear to be a unit that stands out above the rest. A number of the units have a battery life of 8h, not sure what the point of this is when my target time for the Full Ironman is 12h. Any suggestions from those in the know?
