Well done to the A bunchers, sounds like you guys had a good one. I realised on Saturday night when I wanted to check my start time I had  not entered .  Was not fuzzed, I did the Bakwena last year and did not like it. So I went and did  the race at Stonehaven instead. I reckon I will do the same next year.

 

I was surprised when I saw Nigel (Cyclelab) had about a minute on the bunch on that course. As noted, the crash probably played a role. But take nothing away from Nigel, he will be one of the guys to watch out for at the 94

It's only hard work when I have to drag my fat bod uphill - and when I am trying to stay with the fast bunch on the track. The rest of the time I can sit back and relax!!

so i got to the start with a few minutes to spare' date=' then the race started, wow 1st time racing in A group, the pace was right up, up until the turn around we were, well i was on 46ave, the turn around brought along the wind, what a bugger that was, still managing a 2h26 am very happy bout that.

 

Nice meeting a few hubbers, Zaskar on the road, and The Thug and Daemon at the finish line, well done to all, and the guys that came down, hope you recover quickly for next weekends race.

Hi 1hill@aTime, ek het saam met julle daar in die bunch gery, maar het nie 'n idee wie wie is nie, dis nou van die hubbers.  Ek het ook wonder bo wonder in 2:26 klaar gemaak, was amper dood in die proses, maar na die tyd is dit tog lekker om terug te dink oor al die pyn en lyding! 

 

Nou wil ek ook net baie dankie se vir al die hulp en aansporing van al die vriendelike ouens daar in die A bunch, julle was GREAT!!!!!

hi Krokki, ja ons het seker bietjie saam gery(germiston wheelers kit silver Cinelli).

 

my bene is nogsteeds vandag seer, ek dink iets is binne af , sal moet rus voor sondag, watse fiets het jy gery, en kit?

ek het in die C bonel gery saam iemand en het die hele pad gepace en op die laaste 5km toe wil almal ewe skielik kom race en my sprint mar ja . . . . . .

He decided to break and sprinted on the hoods instead of the drops picked his bike off the tar and threw it down on the tar .  Bike decided to high sided him onto the tar went home with the ambulance not nice at all

Ek was die ene met die groen en swart Bakwena kit, pienk en silver helmet en skoene met 'n blou en silver Orbea.

 

Ek is bang vir Sondag...ek was nog nooit goed met sulke baie opdraendes nie.  Ek sal dit maar vat soos wat jou naam se...een op 'n slag!  Sal so graag daar ook 'n sub 3 wil ry, maar weet nie so mooi nie, ek is lekker seer.

The A bunch in the 94.7 is going to be very different from the Bakwena. There is reasonable prize money and I would not be surprised if a few licensed riders drop to A. It is going to be very hard!
