This morning during my commute to the office a lady in a blue Toyota Yaris approached from behind and then right alongside me, turned into one of the side roads.

She connected my front wheel and luckily with the slow speed of her turning I managed to break in time and stick my leg to keep from going over and possibly under her wheels.

What really pissed me off though, is that she saw me, clear as day. And even checked her rear view mirror as she drove off.

Consequently I've decided to take it further and report it to Rosebank SAPS as a hit and run, even though theres no damage or injury fortunately, other than my soiled underwear and vulcan deathgrip imprints on my handlebars.

Take care out there guys, be safe on the roads and if in Parkhurst area, watch out for a dark blue, yaris driven by a young white female, long dark hair. Reg sxx/c 188 GP

Additionally, I found this extremely useful link on reporting a hit and run. Straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak...

Cheers guys, it's like I got two lucky rabbit foot, er feet....

As well mate, largely have no issues as there plenty side roads, this was on 7th Avenue/Laan. Which is fairly busy but also a steady traffic flow and wide roads.

Danger,

Stop riding in to people, you are such a menace on the road. You probably gave the girl the biggest fright of her life.

Was she not just staring at your incredible good looks when she was looking in her mirror rather than actually looking if it was safe?

You need a witness?

I saw the whole thing!

Just give me details of exactly what happened and I'll remember everything clear as day.

I work in Rosebank, so its no problem.

B**ch!

In fact, I think I am going to take a walk down there at lunch time and report seeing a hit and run!

I'm thinking that with all that time spent at the bike park and the lessons learnt, you tried to manual over her bonnet with not too much success.

Glad to hear your OK.

I feel like such a fool.

Didn't realise he was trying to check out her bonnet.

He said it was a Yaris and not a Volksie....

I actually DIDN'T see it, but if it means getting a stupid irresponsible motorist in a lot of ***, then I will perjure myself and lie in a court of law.

Will only cost you a case of Windhoek draught.

You sure you wern't riding too close though check out her cleavage?....

Glad ur OK mate !

Did a bit of a commute on a saturday arfie to my uncle here in Snor City the other day, learnt not to ride on the sidewalk. Its for pedestrians and people constantly cut you off when turning left.
