Nice Tumbles. ......tell me do you wear that as flag dress on the weekend's,

Only when Bafana win...

Hahaha! It's actually a SA flag version of the Bavaria dresses that got those lovely foreign ladies arrested during 2010. A hubber got it for me to do the Nashua Mobile Ladies Race in back then.

My ss came to an abrupt halt this afternoon. ......crank arm snapped whilst accelerating from a traffic circle in the cbd.

Now to find a cost effective replacement.

I had slight problems with my fixie last week too...

guys, is there a way to get a ss using a vertical drop out frame without having to use a chain tensioner thingy?

edit: half links came up in google - but frazzled the brain a bit so I thought I would ask.

Yep, halflink and "magic gear"

May last only for a while as you encounter chainwear and sprocket/ chainring wear.

If you ride hecticly bumpy terrain, and the chainline is slightly off, you may find your ride stopping more often than not. ( obviously mtb)

Road, you ma get away with it for longer.

Half link chains give you a more adjustment in terms of finding the magic gear.

Until chain stretch, component wear sets in...

Just run a tensioner.

What frame, if it is BB30 you can run a problem solvers EBB.

Otherwise as Ryan says just run a tensioner.

Ooo yes. Good idea.

If you do run a tensioner and are worried about aesthetics you can try a BB mounted 1x guide. Can work well but adjustment can be tricky. Ping Hairy - I think he ran this in the past.
