liebenw Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 I did not do any funrides or ACT for two years because of studies and they threw me from B in my previous ACT to PD in 2006. I asked them to please consider, gave them my reasons for not being actively involved and they subsequently have me an "E" seeding that year. So perhaps there is a logical reason. Let's not speculate too much about a fairly trivial matter.

He is an aquaintance and not a friend, only know him from the PPA rides. I am NOT too impressed... the last race they used for my seeding was the Three Passes (13/02/2011)... I had a pretty good Medallion Tour and also a pretty decent Bay City and Argus...Would like to move out of the back marking R group at least. Now it looks as though they will be needing to use my Malmesbury time as well for seeding purposes, that is 4 races to get a decent seeding on ahead of a VERY short MTB season for me

Newest Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Duckworth–Lewis sucks,Most of all, my employee review scoring system sucks.PPA is just maintaining international rating and scoring standard. If this guy cheated, then he will feel it when he rides where he is not supposed to be. Why don't we forward submission to let him ride with the elites next season. Maybe then he will consider playing golf. Oh, yes, the handicap system is just as confusing.

I have seen guys before who were seeded in groups too fast for them and they dead by chappies and worse off than if they started later. you still went faster than him anyway. He could also have just gotten a friends start card and was never seeded there. I think that if they used this years argus as a basis to calculate seeding for the past few months races they will get different results. Although lots of guys rode good times I think that more guys rode faster times in 2008 than this year so it may not be so bad for seeding. Edited March 16, 2011 by orbeaorca

I agree .Every year I get to Chapmans @ Suikerbossie I find ouma and oupa in front of me.The only way they could get there before me is if they start in A/B bunch. I normally start in G/H unless of course they have jet fuel in there water bottles.One will never know

Perhaps when they do a swap, they find the closest match if possible. So much for your conspiracy theory/persecution complex...
