Not sure why today would make him the most hated. ? Was only with half an eye (other eye is on Eurobike!) and the move that cost him a wing change and Lewis a puncture was pure racing incident in my eyes.

Lewis had a choice to squeeze him or play it safe and chose the latter. Rosberg could've backed out earlier or given more space, but didn't. Both came out losers. The fact that Lewis came out a bigger loser (some would argue he went into the race as a loser  ) is not Rosber's fault.

Could easily have been that Rosberg lost his wing and Lewis carried on without any damage.

Maybe I missed it, but didn't hear Rosberg moan. Did however hear Lewis giving up fairly early on and then kept asking the team to retire him. He should maybe go watch more Senna races...

On the other hand, in the Senna years he wouldn't have to nurse his engine and could've given it stick for the full race bar some tire and fuel management.

For once I have to disagree with you. That was Nicos fault, also made numerous other mistakes against other drivers today. I am not a Lewis fan, but Nico lost a lot of fans today. Even his podium interview was shocking indeed.

Also, Lewis had a badly damaged car, and the most hated comment is based on the booing, not my opinion. Worse than the worst ever Vettel booos, at the best track in the world.

Like I said, only watched with half an eye. Will watch it again later tonight or somewhere in the week.

You must, wasnt the most exciting race, but eye opening indeed. Kimi finally came good. Alonso and Vettel had a very poor race. Looking forward to the pr nightmare at Mercedes, geeez, they are going to have their hands full.

Hammie have far less control than Rosberg when he got punctured by his teammate's wing.

After a magnificent start, it is questionable whether it was driver error or intentional - hence the booing crowd, I guess.

It didn't look good at all.

Above all else, what another fine ride by Ricciardio - consecutive victories for the rookie.

That's special

Lewis was ahead, Rosberg had the oppurtunity to back off and not hit him. I dont think it was intentional, but Nico is a not a World champ, end of story. His driving today was shocking, very poor. The way he drove today, he must be carefull riciardo does not beat him to the title.

That's what I meant that when another racer clips another from behind, the one in front has little, if any, control over the crash / touch.

Hamilton is quoted after a team meeting as saying Rosberg admitted it was deliberate and I have seen a quote (no idea if completely accurate) that the team have described what Hamilton said as "Broadly accurate".

If true that is far from a racing incident and good cause for the booing.

Racing incident, as confirmed by Toto Wolff after their little internal debrief. Yes Rosberg might have been a bit aggressive but he had the inside line albeit not by much. This was always going to happen though, and has almost happened many time before this incident.

At the end of the day Hamilton made the choice not to concede, in a way also out to prove a point like he is accusing Rosberg, and cut across Rosberg which led to the contact.

While all this handbag slinging is going on they are all missing the bigger picture though. .........

Ricciardo is driving brialliantly, in a better engined car he might even be better than both the Mercedes drivers at the moment.
