It’s not the same, but imagine they built it!

Simulation gives us an idea of what can be done.

Agree. Found it quite interesting the VR created a real life state for the driver with regard to sensory response etc. Suggesting the brain interprets the risk as real and not a game.

LH now equals the great MS on 91 GP victories!!

Say what you want about the dominant Mercedes. But that’s 91st time he’s beaten a teammate in an equal car. Well done sir. #respect

Frame those 91 victories how you want. We all know it’s not quite the same.

It’s a great achievement nonetheless, well done LW.

I didn’t see the post race interview, who did Lewis blame for the win?

I had no time for interviews. Had to get onto Eurosport to see the end of the cycling. :-)

I’m just excited to see what tattoo Ricardo now plants on his Renault boss. Should be a laugh.

He was talking RB up and how “fast” they are and how “difficult” It was And how difficult the rest of the season is going to be ( even though he is 70 points clear now lol)

...You know, the usual ‘triumph over adversity“ narrative.

Also...how “proud” he was of his lapdog (bottas v7.98b) for giving him a go in the first turn.

...and them some more lies about not knowing about the record until he crossed the checkered flag.

Gawd.

On a different note.

I’m thinking this weekend was the straw that broke the red bull’s back for Albon. What an utter waste. That comment he made when Gasly was racing him hard for position...sonething along the lines of “ they are always racing me this hard”, like s little baby.

He soon after got retired by his team...with some bs story about power unit issues...but Albon was nowhere to be found during post race interviews etc. I think ge’s gotten his first and second warnings today imo. Hulkenburg can pitch up for quali off his couch and score points. Albon is driving the second best car on the grid and is 7th in the WDC, a second a lap off max and he would have been lapped today. A joke.

Max’s WDC points are basically Redbulls WCC points....he is carrying the team on his own.

RB need to stop being stubborn and get perez or hulk in that second car. They will make perfect nr2’s. They cant fight 2 mercedes with one car.

this sums it up so well for me

last year really grinded me when they were destorying everyone for the first 7 races and each time a mic is in front of them they complain about how fast the ferrari's are

Yup, i would literally LOL every time he said ferrari was the fastest car last year and that merc were second best. That is his and Toto’s game. Always downplaying. Sure ferrari had some speed in a straight line, but they were not even close to the best package overall. I have a feeling that deep down he knows that even though he is racking up records and wins and championships (Which i guess he deserves, he’s there and someone has to) ...he sees how they might be construed as a bit empty due to the lack of competition...why he feels the need to always talk the competition up so it sounds like he had to work super hard.

So annoying.
