Ok asshole 99% is not all the time !

woah calm down there :) lol

Ok he is not incorrect to say that most of the time CWC is the cheapest followed closely by buycycle. Hence everything i have looked for has always been better priced from CWC and i work 1km away from the shop so not to mention the conveniance. I cannot comment on buycycle for that matter but have never had anything but stellar service from CWC. If you feel your mails arent being answered promptly jsut give them a ring on the mobile no: and bobs your auntie questions answered.

As to the stock availability. on the system, I have been there when there is one last item in the store, and some dude nipped it out from under me while i was standing in store buy purchasing it online. So not necesarilly their fault or a system fault. just bad luck. Unless you ordered it online and went in to collect and it wasnt there?. Thats generally what i do, i place the order since i have the option to pay in store, they collect it from the store, I drive in, 1 minute later i have my goodies and im gone before i walk around and spend more cash.

CWC online service has always been excellent for me and many others on the Hub. F-ups occur with any organisation. We know they shouldn't, but they do. It's what is done after that really counts.

I just ordered ZTR rims and some other bits from Buycycle, got advised its coming from three different 'warehouses'

In fact its direct from their suppliers, they don't keep stock: could be some retail on-line collaboration between various importers (?) so not sure how their stock indications could be current but here's hoping my order is not delayed (got shipment #1 of 3)

COVIE, to answer your, CW Cycles AND ALL THE STAFF knows me personally, all of them. They even call me by my Hub name when I'm in the shop.

I did not blame them, I need to be honest in what transpired from start to finish, and it stated at CWC .

IT WOULS BE VERY DISHONEST / WRONG FROM ME TO ONLY PUT THE BUYCYCLE ISSUE ON THE TABLE WITHOUT LOGGING THE CWC ISSUE

I must be one of the lucky ones to have ordered from both places and had great service, Buycycle and CWC.

+1 on both.

Bought a Fox fork & Redwin Race cassette from Kevin and not only were they cheaper than CRC on both but delivery was very fast.

Hope Pro 2's and ZTR rims from CWC. Built and delivered within a couple of days and waaaay cheaper than everybody else - including CRC who coincidentally never has these items in stock.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune though.

You cant be at the top of your game all the time and it had to happen to somebody...

Me thinks you are going to be waiting very long for your refund.

Buycycle do not have a warehouse....they rely on the importers for warehousing. Before ordering anything from them, first check that the importer has stock.

My 2c worth.

Anybody can make a mistake, its how you fix it that sets you apart.

CWC are quick to admit to and fix their mistakes if and when they make them. And it's not often.

I have done 2 orders with Buycycle.

One was flawless and the other wasn't great.

Will I order from them again? Probably.

The cock up happens at CWC when people go into the 'on-line' store....so everyone want stuff,etc....now they buy at and being side tracked they forget to update the stock....atleast CWC will make a effort to fix their mistake...comparing them to other on-line stores I think they doing pretty good and give great friendly service.....even CRC make mistakes and they been in the business way longer....

I just receive a mail from Buycycle, informing that they will refund and

quote "Die refund is gedoen, ek het 'n automated email direk van MyGate na jou gestuur. Die geld behoort more of oormore terug te wees in jou rekening"

mmm. more of oormore ?

waarom nie maandag wat verby is, toe hulle reeds geweet het daar is nie stock?

Lets wait and see.

atleast they will refund you...soms online shops would have given you a voucher...or whatever...they were wrong, so now chill man....its long weekend! :P

They don't really have a choice anymore. The Consumer Protection Act says that if they can't deliver the goods to you at the pre-agreed time and place, they have to give you the option of a full refund.

yea I knw....remember long time ago at Kalahari...ordered a CD and they couldnt find it anymore so I got a cedit...luckily I needed new Unisa text books, hehe. Love the new act!

I feel you're pain popeye. You want to know why i have such a good relationship with Chris and CWC? well because they messed up! ironically enough. To be fair it was Chris Snr's division that did something that really upset me. Not knowing any better i mailed Jnr at the time bitterly complaining about the events. And even though the front shop has nothing to do with CWConline, Jnr invited me for a coffee to chat about events.

Being the coffee addict i am i though well worst case i get a free coffee so i went, we had a chat, appologies was made, hands were shook, and the net effect is that i have a geat relationship with both Snr and Jnr, And even though I am now loyal to them now due to the relationship, I dont have to look anywhere else becuase nobody beats them in price, service and after sales.

That said they are not perfect they will be the first to admit this and correct it quicker and more effeciantly than any other dealer, importer, Web based IPO, or LBS I have ever come accross.
