Just want to say that it is p1ss poor that the XCO world cup is not televised. Cycling South Africa is working on the principle of a Gauteng Municipality, lots of inflow, very little outflow.

Any case, just very disappointing.

watch it on www.freecaster.tv

ladies xc on live now....

I am watching it on freecaster. It's just pathetic in my opinion. Such a big showcase and yet, we get to see re-runs of SuperCycling and Paris Roubaix over and over again.

Do you know how much it cost to televised it live?

surely you cannot expect to have it live, its not realy that big.

Its english football, its super 15 rugnt and live cycling tomorow.

Unless you push some money as a sponser, it you want to see it live.

popeye: they can syndicate the footage from existing feeds. I dont see why everyone elses complaints are invalid. Cameras abound at this event, and it's only better if they could spare one or two.

If XC is too boring, then tomorrow's showcase, the Downhill event, will surely get spectator hearts pumping. I guess it's not enough the homeboy Greg Minnaar stands a very real chance of slaying the field tomorrow. I bet a 2 liner blurb on supersleep will be had. again. ffs.

was at the track today - nothing boring about XC! awesome footage on the big screen and even better out on course. as was noted - the filming is already being done, it just needs to be televised. if the epic organizers can do it, so should the world cup organizers. it is the only way to get the sport out there and the masses in supporting it live. i feel very strongly about it. the event is driven by a group of local enthusiasts, CSA is on the band wagon. they should be running with such a great event....

Cool!

A highlights package

Think it is a bit more than 'highlights', tonights show is scheduled from 21:00 to 01:00. Tomorrow from 20:00 to 23:00,

You need to remember that big events book time to show their event, if a cycling sponser is not "paying" for that time, he will nt get that spot.

Thats why you see rugby the whole of a saturday and no game is played at the same time.

Its all about money, selling airtime to a sport.
