Let's be honest now even a hard tail with good components will be hard.

Nick G Posted April 17, 2015 Share If u search the classifieds section here for FS bikes I'd say plus / minus R20k (I ride a Giant Anthem X...really good) Edited April 17, 2015 by Nick G

T-bo Touch Posted April 18, 2015 Share I did this year's Absa Cape Epic with a HT and didn't have any issues. But if I had the money, I would go for Specialized Epic FS. HT is good shorter races and dual for longer. That's my 2 cents worth.
Allrounder Posted April 20, 2015 Share Then Ill rather invest in a good HT, since I don't think ill ever ride more than 5 hours offload. And my current bike is 16,5 kg.....
wernerhp Posted April 28, 2015 Share I'm shopping for a 29er carbon ht. Have a 26er ds. Dual sussers are more comfortable, but expensive to maintain. Best is to buy one of everything or get a rigid fork hardtail. no shocks to service.
