  3. Anyone have an update of the guys that crashed in Smits 1D group, really hope you guys are ok. Crazy fast decent....
  4. Is the whatsapp group still active? I have gravel grinder and I'm keen to do some riding before work road or dirt. I was mugged on the cycle route just over a year ago. Avoid the area at all costs. I ride marine drive then N1 for a short distance left past the old breweries & then cycle into town.
  5. I do every day...Marine drive then on the N1 for no less than 1km turn left past the old breweries and into town.
  6. I bought the S-works power saddle just over a year ago, (switched from Fizik that made my nether regions dead). Its a great saddle but the quality of the fabric is poor! Mine already has signs of wear on the nose of the saddle.
  7. I recentyl resigned from my job and aquired new offfices in Town. Looking to commute to work everyday & would like to know if anyone is keen to join me ? I am self employed so can be flexible with my times. I would like to leave Milnerton at 8am and Town at 5.30pm. Let me know if you would be keen? Safety in numbers!
  8. My f-balls hope my bike turns up!! https://www.bikehub.co.za/stolenbikes/187-s-works-tarmac-sl3-2011/
  9. I'm very keen to buy Vector 2 pedals. Can you provide me with your most competitive price? Thanks
  10. An easy google search will see that your prices are far to high!!
  11. NESPRESSO is ridiculously overpriced and your hooked into their flavours. Selling my NESPRESSO machine if anyone is keen? Looking at Jura machines and will use Deluxe coffee beans. I use to spend about 500 bucks a month on NESPRESSO pods. Using your own grinder & coffee machine will save you loads.
  12. Some useful tips not to spread the germs. Cough/sneeze into your arm pit not your hand! Else you spread the germs with your hand. Gems can live for 30 days if in the correct environment. If you do cough and sneeze make sure you are in a ventilated area. Vapour particles can spread throughout the room in seconds. Wash your hands regularly. Keep your distance if you are contagious (especially near young infants) you still can be contagious 2 weeks after you feel better. Happy winter lads.
  13. Boycott the race its that simple!!! I'm out....
  14. I disagree! Until some good looking well dressed gangsters holds a gun to your chest and a knife to your throat, you might think differently....Ask me I know!!
  15. Not even a call from SAPS. I spoke to WO Miles who was dealing with the case and they said it was impossible to send a patrol vehicle into that area for various (stupid) reasons. He was most unhelpful. I will now just keep warning people not to use the cycle path.
  16. Are you mad... The most dangerous stretch of road in cape town for cyclists!! I was bike jacked knife and gun point of this path!! Stay away rather Uber!!
  17. Stay away from the Cycle path! Read my story below.... commuting isn't safe especially if you have a back pack!!! Sorry to put you off~!! Safety in numbers!! https://www.bikehub.co.za/stolenbikes/187-s-works-tarmac-sl3-2011/
  18. Holy cow that heavy sorry you went through that... I guess Jhb thugs v Cape town Tik kops!!!
  19. As much as I would like to agree with you I cant!!! They hit me off my bike took my back pack then decided to steal my bike, just a knife the throat. They never searched me & walked away with their backs toward me, rather arrogant I might add!!! It would have been lovely to fire a warning shot and watch how they soil their rods!!!
  20. Well done for not buying them. I had the pleasure of having my S-works taken from me on the milnerton cycle lane. So now I engrave all the components as well as secrets markings on my zipps!
  21. Sorry to disappoint but its a real gimmick. You need to have it on your arm at all times to maximise any movements or activities to be able be rewarded. You would need to take your phone with you for a jog or ride too. Not cool when your mountain biking. I would say its more for the ladies who constantly leave their cell phones buried deep in their hand bags, this way they cant miss a call or message. Thanks goodness it was free................. my 555555c worth!!!!!
  22. Whatever decision you make, never leave you bikes locked/unattended on the back of your car!!!! They know how to remove 4 bolts and steal not only your bike carrier but your bikes too!!!
