I found these interesting: key guns. In the 1600s, jailers were given these in case there was anything untoward going on in the cell behind the stout oak door. Shoot first, ask questions afterwards. Though I can't imagine they did much more than a pellet gun, and a pap one at that.

What you dont see in the gif is that the boxer, turned and walked away from the scene soon after that. The two dudes then regained their senses and started after the boxer again....but you dont see what happened after that. My guess is they tried to get some retribution and got their asses handed to them a second and a third time

Sorry cptmayhem, here are some really sad ones (especially as you've got baby mayhem). But I'm with Stretch; there's a kind of poetry in the passing of the seasons, and some melancholy. I guess they're also reminders of how small we are, and how puny our civilisations. Nature shrugs us off.

That place is teeming with healthy wildlife now. It kinda ruins the idea that the world will turn into a wasteland after a nuclear apocalypse.
