Interestingly enough French nationals arn't legally aloud to join, so the Legion recruits them as Canadians or Belgians and forces them to change their name...Its not an easy life- 5 year minimum contract, brutal training and because youre expendable you get sent to places France is too scared to go themselves [The legion entered Mali 3 weeks before regular French troops were deployed] but I guess it is one hell of an adventure, plus you'll be a proper certified badasshttp://www.blog.flicks.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/badass-badge.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
