There is a very interesting story behind this. This photo was taken when Obama was just a Junior Senator and unknown. Mandela originally did not have time to see him but was convinced that he may be getting the opportunity to meet someone who was going to be the first black president. Eventually he afforded 5 minutes to meet the Senator. Obama sent Mandela the photo many years later as a gift...and that is apparently the only photo of the two of them together

What is the art form called? I love it and have never viewed it as vandalism but as art (the same as artistic graffiti).
