oh boy, those were the real music days !

Going to put on some Jimi right now ! (its time for a Purple Haze, man !)

I have all the stuff on vinyl, even Ray Charles, makes one realise that there is no good music anymore.

lp's were played to death - mostly just hissing sound coming out of them now :-(

Fortunately been able to replace many with CDs - stones, cream, canned heat, b.sabbath, who, zeppelin, dylan, big brother and the holding coy, janis j., deep purple, jefferson airplane, ten years after, lots of jimi...etc etc - but not all the good stuff from; spooky tooth, some zapa, richie, havens, juicy lucy, otis waygood, iron butterfly, mothers of invention, vanilla fudge, country joe and the fish, .........

and on a separate/same note: I have to admit I only listened to grateful dead's American beauty for the first time 6 months ago - what a masterpeice! why did it take me so long!

There is some good music out there, but not like in the old days, one has to sift through a lot of muck to get good stuff.
