Thank goodness....at least you dont have to go through the 26 vs 29er mud fights. No no dont ask...just read the existing posts on the topic.

ps: if someone says you are fat - hit the 'report' button.

We then send a squad of fatties to the thinny and go sit on him

Welcome and enjoy . Just a word of caution to you bettybryan, don't let people on The Hub put you off when they correct your spelling and or grammar.

There are a couple of them that hunt in packs, when they should be at Mensa meeting's telling each other how smart they are!

What's the toughest part about becoming a road cyclist?

Telling your parents you're gay ;)

Just kidding, welcome and enjoy mate

why not try mtb first... you will never go back!

No hills in the "Trono" area if I remember correctly, might not be much fun doing MTB. Road on the other hand should be fast though...

Welcome Canuck!

Welcome.

Here's the rules.

1)Don't post pictures of boobs unless of your own.

2)Don't talk religion, we are all atheists.

3)The only rugby team that may be mentioned here is the Blue Bulls.

4)Don't admit that you have bar-ends on your riser bars.

5)Drink only Windhoek beer.

6)Don't call me "dude". You can call anyone else "dude". I don't mind.

7)Don't mention Lance Armstrong.

8)It is customary to start your sojourn here by starting a war called "chain stretch".

9)Don't flirt with the chicks here, we've already claimed them both.

10)Dont' speak with funny accents.

11) Don't break your brakes and don't get the two confused or someone will break your neck.

12) A rim is just one component of a wheel. Don't advertise rims and then post pictures of wheels.

13) Do tell us that you ride your chains for 40 000kms with no apparent damage at all. You'll quickly have hordes of fans.

14) Dont call me dude.

Stick to your opinions, unless a more logical argument comes along...then you can change your opinion, as long as you stick to it. When the argument gets refuted, you can change back to your original opinion, but first change your hub name
