Holy smokes. That's an amazing difference. Gummi don't get me wrong the original is an awesome photo but mr Dangle can just transform any photo.

Gummi, it takes the shot to begin with... and that's a niiiice one! And Dangle's edit did it justice. Well done on both counts!

Hey Gummi.

 

I tried the HDR work on it, it doesn't work well with dark shots, its better when you have great contrast and a big mix of light.

 

What I did here is boost the clarity a bit, lightened the shadows as well as the blacks.

Boosted the highlights a tad and gave it a slight sharpen.

 

I also fixed up the lens vignetting on the corners as well as midpoint.

Other than changing the above which changes the contrast, not much was done.

 

I only managed to upload a compressed jpeg of it (sorry)

 

But I reckon that the edited image will pretty much be close to what the eye saw
