Frosty is referring to improvements changes for 2012, as I read it.

I remember losing Frankie Schleck last year. It was uncool.

Allowing substitutions should not be described as an improvement!

Agree - Even though Radioshack was one of my top 3 teams this year, I prefer the dynamic nature of racing to influence the points.

As far as I understood it Frosty was perhaps doing a trial run of substitutions concurrently this year. But this year it will still be no subs rules.

Personally I think in future it should remain that you pick your team at the start and then that is it for the duration of the competition. If there are freak accidents etc then that is bad luck. Every rider has the same risk to be involved in some or other freak incident.

Heard that Levi is out,if that's the case i am now 4 riders down :(

Just saw on Cyclingnews.com that Popo is out, but Levi is soldiering on 7 minutes behind on GC.

Looks like I've stirred up a hornet's nest - hub style

The rules HAVE NOT CHANGED for 2011, and the "sorry for you" rule still applies - period!!

I'm looking at seeing how it influences the score should you be allowed to substitute riders - you won't see the results until after the end of the competition. This will then determine if substitutions (for injuries only) makes a difference for 2012

Obviously the riders on the top will object, and the riders losing team members will agree to substitutions.

I'm trying to keep things interesting for as many people as possible, and let's see how it pans out.

Hoping that Rojas and Griepel doesn't rain on my parade today! Hoping for a Farrar, Petacchi, Cav, Hushovd finish! In that order!!

Need the points before we hit the big mountains... that's where things could turn sour for me.

Frosty: That looks like stage 9 results you posted there.

Nah, it's all good, splat.

 Voeckler is surging me away from the bottom!

He is such an attacking rider - really earned a few days in yellow!

Absolutely, cannot wait for tomorrow! Man-oh-man. Contador, the Shlecks, Evans. Voekler fighting to stay in yellow. Oh dear! I feel a cold coming on, might have to stay home
