MariusL Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Personally I think in future it should remain that you pick your team at the start and then that is it for the duration of the competition. If there are freak accidents etc then that is bad luck. Every rider has the same risk to be involved in some or other freak incident.

Frosty Posted July 12, 2011 Author Posted July 12, 2011 (edited) Looks like I've stirred up a hornet's nest - hub styleThe rules HAVE NOT CHANGED for 2011, and the "sorry for you" rule still applies - period!!I'm looking at seeing how it influences the score should you be allowed to substitute riders - you won't see the results until after the end of the competition. This will then determine if substitutions (for injuries only) makes a difference for 2012Obviously the riders on the top will object, and the riders losing team members will agree to substitutions.I'm trying to keep things interesting for as many people as possible, and let's see how it pans out.
