Okay, Riders,

It is time for the annual registration process if you stay close to Table Mountain and surrounds.

When are you gonna sign up for the 2011-2012 season?

Are you gonna?

SO WHAT DO YOU SAY?

ya, Pedal Power, who are they? I'm still waiting for last years membership card and number. But if you don't register, you don't have a " on record " Argus time, nor a Argus mtb time or most race times in the Western Cape. The pedal power is almost in the same class as Computicket, the service is not always up to scratch and as long as they sell memberships/tickets, who cares, they happy.

I renewed allready. They have got you by the balls. Allthough they dont do much to deserve that fee and dont give a flying **** about any complaints you have to pay that money

Im not renewing this year as i only ride MTb and they barely organise any of the MTb races in the cape these days. On top of that i entered Bie Burger MTB and i still didnt get my PPA discount and had to pay CSA fees even though i was still a paid up PPA member. Only advantage is a good argus seeding, but that doesnt mean to much to me so FAAAARK em i say

Going to rather give my money to Dirtopia this year. Not going to criticise those who will continue their membership, just I received no value of of mine.

Unfortunately no 'dirtopia' for roadies

I was informed that my subscription was paid before I knew it.

But how does our SA cycling system work? I am a fully licensed Elite rider, but still have to fork up their regerstration fee to get to race with the elites at mtb and road events, isnt this something that sa cycling should look at, otherwise, screw the sacycling fees and only pay ppa and I can start where I deserve to?

I will renew but. It feels like a grudge purchase... PPA really need to work on their service level.

For me its also a grudge purchase and why I'm supporting the alternative. I feel sorry for roadies as there really is no alternative. Not saying we need a completely fragmented cycling scene with regards to organisations but we need to have a choice.

As much as I love Mtb I like to start the Argus as close to the front as possible to avoid unnecessary carnage, hence the grudge purchase.
